Hullo Everybody!
Well, I have an idea for a plot, but I don't really think I can do much with it.

The reason behind that? Well, I am completely and utterly new to all this. Not just, IJ but also QaF. I had heard about the show a lot over the years but never thought I would like it, then one day just a couple of weeks ago, I started watching videos on YT about Brian and Justin, and I about fell in love with them. I am still working on watching the actual show (I'm only on like episode 12 or something of season 1). I've seen quite a lot from all the seasons thanks to videos of YT, but not enough to actually write a fiction just yet.

Anyway, the idea I have...

I was thinking something along the lines of when Justin is with Ethan, what if Ethan was abusive to Justin? I've seen a few of this types on FF but none of them are complete and haven't been updated in like years. I am pretty good at those types of stories (I've written one for LuRe of ATWT before), but since I don't really know the characters much, I wouldn't be able to keep it very canon-ish.

So, Ethan is abusive to Justin, in all ways (emotional, physical, sexual, etc). I would really like if maybe Emmett or Michael find out, but maybe don't really think anything of it at first so they don't say anything? I was talking with a friend about this, she's been into the show a little longer then I have, but she doesn't write so I couldn't really ask her for this. Anyway, we were talking like, what if Justin was hurt so bad just before Brian, Michael, Emmett and Ted saved him from Ethan, that he stops talking, eating, sleeping,etc and doesn't want anyone within like 5 feet of him except Brian and/or one other person (she was saying Emmett).

She was also saying something like Ethan gets away before the police can arrest him and disappears for a while, but then he returns all "If I can't have you, nobody can" sort of thing. I didn't really care for that, but I wouldn't mind if it was in the story. She was also saying since he wouldn't let anyone but Brian and/or Emmett near him, he should have like panic attacks if like, they are out of his eye site for more then like 10 minutes so Justin would have to go to work with Brian or stay with Emmett (but Brian would want to keep a close eye on him).

Okay, so I'm just going to stop there. I know that is a lot and it was all jumbled. Anyway, I would really love for something to write this for me, it would mean the world to me. And, I wouldn't mind helping out in any way with this. Whether its helping with ideas to throw in or beta'ing the story or whatever, I can help!

There have been similar sounding stories written to what you've described, it would just be a matter of finding something that would make it unique from the others. but is would be good, as vl_redreign suggest to check out getithere.

bigdogz09 on livejournal has a WIP that she's writing that had Justin go missing after the rage party (http://bigdogz09.livejournal.com/tag/qaf%3A%20light%20shining%20thru), but it's different in the post-incident interactions with Brian so far.

And actually, if you find one that is abandoned that might be worth continuing, there's a new comm on LJ adopt_a_wip http://adopt-a-wip.livejournal.com/ where the author is contacted to see if she or he is willing to have their fic completed by another willing author. you should check it out for more info.
