dream symbols

O.k. After being confused for years over different dream dictionary definations of the symbols that so rarely fit me I'm coming up with my own and I encourage to do the same. It only makes sense. For instance if you are afraid of birds like my sister-in-law, you could have a dream in which birds appear and it is a symbol of something dire for you while I can dream of birds and it could be a symbol of freedom. Our sub brain is so much more sophisticated than our awake brain. It already deals in symbols we just don't recognize them in our waking hours. Once we can make our own "dream dictionary" we'll be able to tap into our sub brain so much easier and it is just an interesting exercise.

For instance, if you really want to see how easily the sub works with symbols when trying to communicate just draw a scene that includes a sun, a house, water, a tree, and a snake. Do that tonight and I'll post tomorrow what it means and why. I won't post the answer until then because I don't read ahead yet it would ruin the exercise. Just indulge me and yourself it will be fun, I promise...
