Lots of communication yesterday!

There is a student that attends my school that is also a fledgling mage. He had some issues with his last meditation and I think he's attracted a 'nasty' to his aura.

Liam got very excited when C showed up at my door and became very active. (Very unusual for someone to just show up on my doorstep without calling or anything, btw which showed me C was sufficiently freaked). More later.

Follow up from earlier today

So anyhow, a freaked out C showed up at my doorstep yesterday afternoon. DH, Elora and I were getting ready to go out grocery shopping and nab some free Starbucks (I got a $5 card in the mail from the post office for trying their online services! yayness! but I digress...)
So we go out on the patio and relax a bit and let him tell me the story. He encountered some things during a mediation that made him uncomfortable and when he came out of it, his little boy was awake (this was at night when the household was sleeping) and he was aware of red orbs and a large black one.

Immediately Liam (my SC or "spirit companion" as other communities tag the term) became very vocal. He stood next to me and Elora kept watching Liam (she was on my lap) as he spoke. A big 6'3" muscled Scot in a kilt is hard to miss even if you don't "see" ghosts. He was telling me that C has encountered a demon and a few lesser "nasties" and he would have to battle them soon. The lesser nasties will be easier to deal with but the demon will take more work. When C is about to battle, Liam is to be called and will leave me to go fight with him. I'm so proud Liam will help. I'm also proud that Liam feels he can leave my family to do such things as he needs...that we don't *need* him all the time.

A spirit companion can be crutch if the spirit allows you to become such. I have never been that way, even with all the crap I've been through over the years. It speaks of my inner strength I think.

Anyway, as I was told what C needed to do, I spoke it. C went back home feeling more confident and better and I know he's safer. We did our shopping and we had a nice family outing then I went and took a nice long walk at a local park trail system. I've never felt more relaxed. Will keep you up to date on C's situation.

I do feel the vail between worlds is thinner than usual at this time of year. Liam shattered a glass the other night as I think my tupperware lady (I recently hosted a tupperware party...yeah, I'm suddenly yuppiemom I guess) had a 'hanger on' of a nasty. She was attracted the the white sage stick I have on my altar. Out of everything on a Wiccan Altar the woman could have asked questions about, she asked about the sage. I'm not sure she was aware of anything else on my altar. I think she was pulled to it because she needs it. So as a thank you gift, I'm going to bring a small stick of it to her at my friend's party. Even if she never lights it...I have a feeling she'll use it.
