I'd like to get my girl Jill here into a SL with an Eric Northman, it can involve mature themes (of course) but I'd like some good plot action to go along with it.
This is Ruby Sinclair, though she'll never tell you her real name. To you, she'll be known as Jill Doe.
From the day she was born, Jill's brain had gotten her in trouble. Born with a congenital brain defect called encephalocele, a defect in Jill's skull actually allowed her to be born with part of her brain exposed. Several bone and skin grafts later, the defect was corrected. But only a few months later, Jill was hospitalized again with hydrocephalus, a condition that causes excess fluid around the brain. Then it was epilepsy. Then a nervous system disorder. Then the doctors gave up. Jill's brain was breaking down and there was no rhyme or reason that modern medicine could explain.
Believing their child's time on Earth to be extremely limited, Jill's parents moved to an isolated area of the Louisiana countryside, with no neighbors for miles and miles, to live out the rest of Jill's short life. To their surprise, Jill survived the year. And then another. And another. By some miracle, Jill lived long enough to grow into a lovely young woman, sweet in nature and sharp in wit. When she turned 15, her parents were urged to get her into some sort of schooling program. Fearful public schooling would be too much of a strain, her parents hired a private tutor. That lasted a week, until during a French lesson, Jill had a massive nosebleed and a migraine so bad she lost consciousness. When she came to, she began to babble in a stream of perfect French, as if she'd been speaking it all her life. Hopelessly stumped, her parents withdrew her from lessons and took Jill into the nearby city for yet another doctor's visit. On their way to the hospital, Jill begged her parents to stop at a tea room that advertised readings from a local psychic. Once inside, Jill had the same reaction; nosebleed, migraine. Her parents wanted to take her to the hospital immediately, but Jill wanted only to go home. Acquiescing, the family returned to their isolated home, where Jill once again returned to normal.
Except for being able to see dead people.
It had taken Jill nearly sixteen years to figure it out, but she was beginning to understand something about her condition that neither her parents or her doctors had ever been able to. Somehow, she was able to mimic the abilities of those around her, just by witnessing them in action. With so many doctors using their medical abilities when she was born, her baby's brain couldn't handle the strain. Being alone for so long, with parents that had no exceptional abilities to speak of, had given her the time to heal and grow, to become stronger. Perhaps even in time the nosebleeds and migraines would pass. Thrilled with her discovery, Jill rushed to tell her parents everything she had learned about her gift.
A week later, she was in the mental hospital.
During her years spent in Calcasieu Oaks Psychiatric Hospital, the Japanese were able to create a synthetic blood, produced under the name TrueBlood, which caused the Great Revelation and surfacing of vampires all over the world. Vampires with incredible abilities; super strength, speed, hypnosis. One stop shopping for a girl like Jill. Enough abilities to keep her safe and out of reach for whoever might come looking for her. Now there was just the pesky buisness of breaking out of the hospital.
She'd been crouching for hours in the parking lot of the vampire bar Fangtasia. Her auburn hair was messy and wild, bits of leaves and branches stuck in the waves as she flicked it over her shoulder. The pale blue scrub pants and top from the hospital were spattered with mud and dirt and a bit of blood from where she'd scraped herself while running. Green eyes watching the front door keenly, Jill cursed under her breath. How frigging long could it possibly be before a vampire walked out the front door and did something... well, vampire-y. 'Course it wasn't like there was a last call for a vampire, right? Sighing, she sank to her bottom, crossing her legs under her on the cold ground to give her aching knees a break.
Luckily, it wasn't much longer before a male vampire and a sleazily dressed fangbanger came stumbling out the door, twirling her bleached blonde hair around her fingers. Perfect. Leaning forward excitedly, Jill watched the exchanged. Glancing around warily, the vampire led the woman towards the back of the parking lot, closer to where Jill waited. Suddenly, he shoved the woman hard around the side of a car, his outline just a blurr as he sped forward to press up against her before she could get away. Not that she wanted to. To Jill's disgust, she squealed and moaned breathlessly, wrapping her leg around the vampire's hips to encourage him further. Her head throbbed, temples burning as if caught between a slowly tightening vice grip. Fighting hard to keep focus, Jill rubbed her fingers against either side of her head, forcing herself to keep watching, even if she wasn't sure she wanted to see what came next.
The drunken fangbanger continued to moan like a bitch in heat, wriggling herself against the fanger. "Are you gonna bite me, sexy?" she whispered in her gruff voice, sounding like a whiskey soaked leather bag dragging over gravel.
The vampire chuckled lightly. "First things first," he replied, placing his palm flat on top of the woman's head and trying to push down in a rather lewd and forceful suggestion for her to get on her knees and service him.
A small glimmer of doubt crossed the fangbanger's tiny features as she began to shake her head. "I don't... I just wanted to know what it felt like, to get bitten, that's all."
The vampire stepped closer, the expression on his face making Jill's stomach twist in fear. His eyes were focused intently enough to drill holes into the fangbanger's, her own stare becoming oddly slack and vacant. It only took a moment before she began to nod sleepily and she sank to her knees, slowly unzipping the vampire's fly as she went.
Retreating back around the corner, Jill pulled a disgusted face, scooting further away so as not to hear the loud slurping sounds of the vampire getting his way. Plus, she only had a few moments until...
"FUCK!" she cried out, louder than she'd meant to. Her hands flew around her head, sure that her skull had split open and her brains were leaking out onto the dirty pavement. It had never hurt this badly before, her heart thudding in her chest, tears streaming down her dirt streaked face as she curled up on the ground, squeezing her eyes shut and praying for the pain to pass.
When it did, Jill pushed herself up stiffly, trembling from tip to tail as she crawled on hands and knees back towards her original vantage point. The vampire had finished and was now tearing into the whimpering fangbanger's neck, groaning loudly as he fed. A warm, wet dripping ooze landed on her hand, making her look down. Blood. It was pouring from her nose, pooling around her hand and smearing over her lips. "Fuck. Fuckfuckfuckfuck," she hissed, feverishly wiping the crimson goo away, pulling her shirt off over her head and pressing it to her nose to staunch the flow.
The vampire stopped, letting the woman drop from his arms and hit the pavement, as he sniffed the air for a moment before glancing in Jill's direction. Though she was hidden from view, no doubt he could smell that amount of fresh blood drooling from her face. Willing herself to remain utterly still, she watched in horror as the vampire began to walk in her direction. He was only a few paces away when the woman on the ground began to stir, moaning softly. With an annoyed growl, the vampire turned away, scooping the woman up and throwing her over his shoulder before speeding away into the night.
Finally able to breath again, Jill rose to her feet, cleaning the rest of her face as best as she could without the benefit of a mirror. She felt recharged, re-energized, keen and focused. Within moments, the bar door opened again, this time a lone female leaving, looking frightened and unsure of herself. Perfect. Jill darted out from around the corner, coming to stand in front of the woman. "Hi," she murmured breathlessly before she narrowed her eyes, letting the same feelings wash over her that she'd witnessed just moments ago. She could feel her will, her presence, reaching into the other woman's mind, her influence shaping the stranger's thoughts. "Cool." Grinning to herself, she leaned in, keeping her eyes locked with the woman's blue ones. "Okay, so, we're gonna go over to that alley," she said firmly, pointing out the dark passageway as she spoke. "You're gonna give me your clothes. And your purse. Then you're gonna put on my clothes, walk to the nearest bus stop and take a bus home. Got it?"
The woman nodded, dazedly following Jill as she backed towards the side of the building. Once under the cover of darkness, Jill got a good chance to really look over what the woman was wearing. Groaning, she clapped her hand over her forehead. Skintight black vinyl strapless dress, dog collar choker round her neck, and sky high stilletto heels. "At least I'll fit in," she whispered to herself, carefully removing with woman's clothes while trying not to have to look at her nakedness. Once dressed, she snatched up the woman's purse, rifling through it and pocketing any loose cash as well as her cosmetics bag and mirror. Shaking out her hair and applying a quick coat of dark makeup, she tossed her dirty bloodied clothes at the glamoured woman before speeding towards the door, hoping her use of her newly-learned vampiric speed would be enough to get past the bouncer without being asked for an ID.
