this is a long shot and probably only suited to writers who like a lot of plotting and can suspend disbelief, but I'd like to revive a character I played years ago who's a medium and can hear the dead. I realize this probably sounds like a Mary Sue drama llama waiting to give birth but this character has always been fun for me to underplay for exactly that reason. she's predictably hermitic, socially inept, and uncomfortable 75% of the time. she's not a tough bitch who's sweet when you get to know her; she's impossibly plain and terrified of death. historically she's been best paired with grizzled nonbelievers and naive eagle scouts, but at the end of the day I'd really just like to write a good, plot-heavy line about two mismatched people who hit the road together to solve a crime. romatic or sexual tension has been fun to throw in before, but isn't necessary. comments are screened so leave one if you're interested!
