After seeing "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves" I am rather taken with Alan Rickman's portrayl of the Sheriff of Nottingham and I would really like to find someone who would like to take him on either in the Rickman version or a similair twist of their own. I would be playing Maid Marion or an original female character, depending on which of the two plotlines below catches your fancy: 1) This is also AU, where good and evil are not quite as concerte as the story always tells us. I'm thinking there's another evil in the kingdom, keeping the Sheriff and Robin from being able to do much about each other for the time being. Then, when she needs rescuing the most, it's the Sheriff who is there to save her life, not Robin. How would this change the classic tale? 2) It's a slight AU where the Sheriff survives and retreats back to Nottingham after Robin Hood foils all of his plans. He's not a very happy camper, obviously. Then he's given a young woman for a wife, partially to keep hold of his position, and what follows is sort of a Beauty and the Beast type story, but with alot of angst, some smut, and some big plot twists.
Now these are just sketches, of course, obviously I want my partner to come in and help shape the story! I'm also open to adding more characters, different elements you may be interested in, including blending elements from various Robin Hood interpetations in. I can go a little light to very dark and I have few squicks. My biggest request is that you be eighteen, because I'm hoping to get the Sheriff naked. :P
