| Thinking of starting an original space opera gpsl |

Hello all. I've been putting together an original sci-fi/space opera gpsl. It won't be ready for some time (I'm thinking a start date in the beginning of fall), but I just wanted to test the waters and get a feel for the level of interest.
If you like Firefly, Mass Effect, Vorkosigan Saga, etc, then you know what I'd be going for: a bunch of ordinary people struggling to make a living out in space and trying not die/turn into a space zombie/get illegally cloned in the process. It would be drama/action/humor/romance. Nothing too elaborate: just a small, lean-and-mean group psl with an original setting (in spaaace), a handful of characters, and a set plot arc. Adults only, original characters only, a few months of game-time. I mod, you guys play.

It's 2012, and the Avengers are being formed, led by Captain America. Superhuman activity is on the rise, bringing out different corners of the Marvel Universe. The world is becoming a more dangerous place, forging heroes and villains alike. The line is being drawn. Sides are being taken, and nothing will be the same.
Most Wanted: Live-Action versions of Wasp, Ant Man, Hulk, Iron Man, Thor or any version of an Avenger!

First off I will set up this journal soon. I just had to do this quick before going to a lunch with some friends!
Anyway I just saw The Change-Up and there are a few line ideas that I would love to try out because o it!
First off, the obvious, PBing two people having this situation. Although this is definitely not a slash line so it would be nice if I could get one person to play a wife, and one to play a prospective girlfriend. Likely an older male and a younger one (I'd like to still use Jason Bateman as a PB because nobody ever does but I can give or take Ryan Reynolds).
Secondly, I would love to continue one (or both) of the couples' lives after the movie. You likely don't need to have seen the movie if you don't mind spoilers but I think it could be a few cute and dirty things to play out all 'round.
Or thirdly, a simple celeb line with Jason Bateman and / or Ryan Reynolds with Leslie Mann and / or Olivia Wilde. Details to be discussed on this one.

Does anyone play any of the A Day To Remember guys? I've got a lonely Alex Shelnutt muse who wants lines with his boys! I'd really, really love a Jeremy Mckinnon for him but I'll take anyone from the band/bands that are friends with ADTR. I'm also willing to try out Jeremy if you don't want Alex, I just need some lines in this scene. RL, AU, angst, fluff, supernatural creatures, dark, timewarp, I am very, very open minded about lines. I only do aim based rping since I can't keep up with threads.
