Is anyone interested in a PSL based on the movie Rope?
Two wealthy, intellectual lovers believe they're Nietzschean supermen, capable of committing "an immaculate murder." Not content with just talking about it, they strangle their "inferior" friend and challenge the crime's perfection by hosting a dinner party. The dead body is present but hidden. They're eventually caught by a snooping guest in the movie, but I'd like them to get away with it for obvious reasons. Or perhaps go on the run. After that, we can keep the turn of events open. The movie was focused on the perfect crime gone wrong, but I'm most interested in the characters and their morality.
Speaking of which! This sort of PSL calls for writing multiple characters, but those roles can be assigned on a whim. The two lovebirds are the most important. One is dominant, calculated, arrogant, and prone to nervous excitement. The other is jittery, morose, artistically gifted, and easy to upset. I'm rather fond of the former, but I'd write either one.
And I'm afraid I could go on and on. Please PM me if you're the slightest bit curious! I can provide examples and we can go over details like setting, PBs, and so on.
