Valentine's Day, everywhere || Día de San Valentín, en todos lados
[Now that everyone's had a chance for a nice meal, a hot shower and plenty of rest in comfortable beds, it's time for a little celebration. It's Valentine's Day! And Rainbow Bridge won't let anyone miss that, with cute and colorful decorations showing up all over the place.

Hearts, ribbons, flowers, teddy bears, and candy motifs everywhere you look, shops will carry relevant items for the occasion, if you want to have a romantic day or show a friend your appreciation. However, it won't be all that happens.

Whenever you're close to someone you appreciate in some way, a valentine's day card might show up! To save you the trouble of getting your own, have magically generated cards available. They'll have a feature where they read what's written on them out loud, so everyone can know how you really feel!

And this time, you might be sharing it with even more people. After the world changed again into its normal form, everyone was given something new - a communicator. These cute smartphone-like gadgets can show both text and video, and they're linked to everyone else's communicator! You can send a private message to a single person, or broadcast something for everyone to see!]

He goes to her without question, even so, right to where he can sense her waiting for him. Sees her as he's walking to close the distance, his measured steps ones that would probably seem calm to anyone else.]

[She smiles at his words, nodding. She knows, or at least can guess, the thoughts going through his head. She wants to protest, wants to apologize, wants to beg for forgiveness for what she inadvertently caused, but-- she knows that's selfish in its own way, too. What can be changed now?]

Subaru... [At least in this, she doesn't let him stay far away for long. She steps forward and pulls him into a tight hug, perhaps a bit stubbornly, not wanting to let go or let him get away.]

[She relaxes a little when he hugs back, and then clings even tighter. She breathes in, then back out again. She doesn't let her voice get shaky. She can't allow for Subaru to see any of her reactions and misinterpret her guilt and sadness as somehow being his fault. She knows she can't apologize to him for the same reason, and she hardly wants to hear any apology from him.]

I guess you're right about that.

[It feels different, to hold him and feel how different he is -- how much older -- but it also still feels just as natural as it always did. This is Subaru. Of course it would always feel good to hold him tight.]
