[Tonight, you might've been already asleep, comfortable in your own bed (or coffin - we don't judge). Or maybe you were staying up late, busy with various things or simply hanging out for a while. Either way, you'll now find yourself asleep, in a bed. A bed that might not be your own. It might be an abandoned bed in one of the many empty hotel rooms, varying in comfort levels, or even in a room at the Crimson Keep, if you're unlucky enough.

And of course, you'll have company. People will pair up in beds across the world, to wake up next to friends and strangers alike. A perfect way to start up a conversation, wouldn't you say? Which you'll have to do, as the world's magic won't let either of you leave the bed until you've at least chatted for a while. It's all about interactions here, and you can't just leave your bed companion to be bored during the time spent with you. It's simple manners, okay. And to help things along, you might find that bowls with snacks appear, ready to be shared by the two people in the bed. It's like your own mini pijama party of two.]

[Bien, la gracia es que él no duerme. No salvo contadas ocasiones, en las que necesita lo que es básicamente un veneno para poder entrar en una especie de coma mágico.

Esta noche no era el caso, así que mientras ustedes duermen a su lado, él va a estar sentado en la cama, muy consciente de que lo transportaron (o los trajeron a ustedes a su propia cama) y que le falta su compañero de siempre, cosa que no le agrada mucho.]

[So. Definitely not for the same reasons, but it would have matched up that hey, Akechi just so happened to be also very much awake despite the late hour. The reason, though, is more so thanks to his return arrival at the bridge again tonight - readjusting not just to the night-time surroundings, but also to his memories flooding back at once, merging with his own. That's fun.

More fun still is when what should have been a simple walk on the paths at Indigo Port turns into a moment of sudden exhaustion hitting him on the way, halting him to a stop. That's really all it takes for the magic to kick in: Akechi's eyes close despite himself to rest just long enough that it fit the bill for him to be whisked off - and to appear neatly in the bed, now fully asleep. Peaceful even.

The coat, clothes and shoes probably look out of place otherwise, though, and he'll be similarly disoriented when the spell runs its course and he starts to wake up again. Mmh...?]

[He's not much of a heavy sleeper so it takes very little now that the magic is settling for his eyes to open and adjust again - relatively quick to alert, especially given the natural tension that comes from waking up so close to another person without expecting it. Was he being watched?

It's only when he recognizes you that some of that same tension seeps back out - not entirely, but enough that at least he's letting himself sit up, stiltedly.]

... Well. This is awkward.
