[WELCOME TO RAINBOW BRIDGE!


That's the first you hear, once you walk into this world. It's easy to see the reason for the name, having just crossed a bridge lit up in all the colors of the rainbow.

Whether you're from a different magical world, or consider the concept of magic a silly thing from movies and games, you'll still receive the proper welcome, and everything that comes with it - some information about this country, a map, directions, and explanations as to how there should be a residents list, but it seems empty at the moment.

But it doesn't end there! It's not just that you're now visiting a magical country with plenty of sights to see and places to explore, with different towns and cities, long roads across swamps, dunes and a large lake, even creepy castles by some cliffs and the dangerous forests surrounding them. No, this week they're also celebrating the arrival of Spring!



While some of the areas are naturally flowery and pretty (like EverGreen Town), it'll all still be noticeably decorated for the date, with flower garlands and bouquets everywhere, flower petals falling around and the perfume of flowers in the air, while NPC travelers will have flowery-patterned clothes, flowers in their hair or hats, and so on. Carriages taking you from place to place might be decorated as well, or you might spot horses with pretty arrangements in their manes.

You'll also be able to find seasonal treats at places like the bakery and the big community kitchen at Sunset Village, or the restaurants at Tourmaline City, or find cute colorful outfits at their clothing shops.

EverGreen Town will be thriving, with big sales on herbs, all sorts of spices, wines and ingredients, and obviously flowers, plants and decorations made with them. The plaza will be full of vendors but also people playing music and dancing through the days - a rare time for those in this town to be a little louder and outgoing.

Even at places like the creepy Crimson Keeps, you might be able to find rare treasure in the form of flower-shaped gems and jewellery!


So it's definitely not a bad time to arrive here - surely that initial confusion and outrage at being separated from your home or loved ones will go away much faster while you join the celebrations, right? Who can stay mad or anxious while wearing a freshly made flower crown?]]

[He might be thinking something along those lines. Just because they are both here doesn't mean they remember the same things-- not just from their world but also from that other one. He'll have to ask about it, of course, but for now he's just glad to see you again, to have found you. Even if you gave him quite the scare.]

You know you could've just said "hello" or my name right away, right? You could've killed me. Given me a heart attack, and then what would this world do without my music? A true tragedy.

[That's his long, overdramatic way to say he's fine.]

[That was cheesy as hell and it only makes him grin like an idiot. He might be a little more used to it now, thanks to everything that happened in that other place, but he still can't help doing a bit of internal screaming every time you do or say things like that.]

That was actually kind of sweet. I think hanging out with me for so long has made you more... poetic.

Yennefer and Ciri aren't with you? But... Maybe they just appeared somewhere else. It doesn't mean they aren't in this world.

They would've left some kind of message. [A letter, or some note, or some mark somewhere, anything to signal to him "I'm here and I'm okay", because they know how he is.]

Or maybe they are on their way here. We didn't arrive at the same time, maybe it's the same for them.

[He wanted to ask you to travel with him for a while, now that there's so many new roads and place to visit. But he also doesn't want to leave you waiting alone.]

...I guess it wouldn't be a bad idea. I saw some other people from the other world arriving.

[He can recognize an out when he's given one. But despite the itch being there, the desire of go out and be on the road after so long in one place... He doesn't want to leave you alone. Not so quickly, at least. He'd feel like a shitty friend.]

So you can mope on your own while you wait? No, no, that's not right. I can stay with you for a while. Probably a good idea to prepare a bit before setting off.

We just had a dramatic reunion in a new world, don't you think that deserves a kiss?

[Here's the thing: the times he was at their own world recently were extremely vulnerable for him, and a time for healing and having little idea what to do with his emotions in general. And regarding the two of them, they'd actually acknowledged in part what had been going on for dECADES, but then Shit Happened which meant they didn't have the time to really sort it out.

So, coming back at that time, and meeting here again, remembering all the time spent in a different world where they did sort that shit out, it's still a bit of a shock and a novelty.

The point being - he's just a little shy and awkward because of it.]

[Even to his further developed more talkative self, that's still a lot to process and/or express, so instead he just Hmms to signal he agrees, and then leans in for a longer kiss.]

[Having known you for so many years means that those sounds and grunts have become like their own language to him, in a way. But if anyone asked him, he'd say he prefers this kind of communication with you. The one where he gets to kiss you, or that you can kiss him back like this at any moment. He even ends up smiling against your lips thinking about it.

It's nice to finally have the time to not just acknowledge what has been going on between them for so long, but to actually be able to act on it. That's another reason to stick around in one place for a while.

And because he doesn't care they are on the road, he wraps one of his arms around you to keep you close as they kiss. Just for a little while longer.]

[A very sweet moment but that will be sadly interupted by the sound of two little chime sounds, one after the other. They'll both find in their hands the star charms and the notes that mark them as residents of this new world.

If it had been just one chime and he hadn't felt something suddenly in his hand, Jaskier wouldn't have cared and would've kept kissing you. But he does end up pulling away.]

[Yeah, in places like these, there's less of a chance of the threats that were after you and Ciri finding you. That has to be a bit of a relief, at least.]

Oh, come on. [He does a hand gesture, trying to take off some importance from the matter.] It's Yennefer. If anyone is going to find a way to show up when you least expect her, at the most unfortunate moment. I wouldn't worry too much about it.
