[As repeatedly pointed out, we're still in the warmer time of the year, and these past days it's been impossible not to notice, with hotter and more humid days making life far less tolerable overall.

A perfect time to remind everyone there's large beaches available to them! People will get pamphlets in their mail, or find them at the hotels they might be staying at, all promoting the same place - the beaches next to Indigo Port.

The colorful papers indicate there'll be a special, one-of-a-kind treat if you choose to go there this weekend, so it might be enough to interest even those who are more reluctant, or who prefer hanging by the lake instead. Once arriving, they'll see this grand offer refers to banana boats set out for people to use!

Hey, they're still pretty fun. And even if you don't engage in banana fun, there's the sea to cool you down, the sand to rest, beach balls to play games with, and plenty of refreshing fruity drinks available at shops, all ready to make sure you still have a good time.]

[Well... he's enjoying himself. He likes any kind of exposition, and swimwear means that he can expose himself in socially appropriate ways (not that he would care that much of being inappropriate, anyway). And the swimsuit he managed to purchase is particularly exposing by design, so he's strutting out and about the beach, letting everyone bask in the sight of his fit, slender body.

There's something else he enjoys about this, and that is that for the last century he hasn't been able to participate in activities involving sunlight, for obvious reasons. But now, with his magic ring as a protection from certain death, swimming and lounging under the light of day is getting to be a whole new experience with his heightened vampire senses.

He might be found at night too, walking down the beach, humming to himself and gazing at the moon and stars, because he's a romantic at heart. And maybe hunting too, which is its own kind of poetry if you ask him, anyway. But right now he approaches your counter, because right now seems the perfect time for a very cold and expensive drink.]

Allô, yes. I would like your finest champagne. Cold, if you please.

As someone who only recently has turned sliiiightly more open-minded to the ways of beach wear (he very much still maintains that his own usual armor is fine in the heat, though at the moment he's in a sensible shirt and apron,) when it comes to the shameless displays like Lestat's..... Well. He's an absolute prude, there's no other word to it, welp good-bye customer service training.]

Well, I would have certainly expected more, but nothing to be done, then. [And asking you for fresh blood surely would be frowned upon even in a place as liberal and strange as this, in his experience. He looks back at the sign, trying (but not that much) to mask his disappointment.]

There's something to be said about creativity, but alas, not a thing everyone has the privilege to possess. [uwu] What would you recommend?

[See, this has now become a deep point of conflict for him. His first recommendation in any circumstance is his pride and joy, the coffee he personally brews. Likewise, for someone like Lestat with such backhanded words and mannerisms, he wants nothing more than to immediately reject and put him on the NO COFFEE EVER list.

Mostly, the result is that his face is all scrunched up in a less than enthusiastic attempt to still make "customer service" happen and answer the question in some semblance of honesty.]

Call it a lack of creativity if you must. If not a fresh drink, then there's also desserts made from ice shavings and certain flavors. Take your pick.

[Maybe the red syrup looks enough like blood to be funny if nothing else.]

	[His internal conflicts aside, the topic of the ingredients at hand is enough of a distraction for him to latch unto at the the moment.] A thicker, more concentrated concoction of some of these fruit flavors.
