the beach || la playa
[As repeatedly pointed out, we're still in the warmer time of the year, and these past days it's been impossible not to notice, with hotter and more humid days making life far less tolerable overall.

A perfect time to remind everyone there's large beaches available to them! People will get pamphlets in their mail, or find them at the hotels they might be staying at, all promoting the same place - the beaches next to Indigo Port.

The colorful papers indicate there'll be a special, one-of-a-kind treat if you choose to go there this weekend, so it might be enough to interest even those who are more reluctant, or who prefer hanging by the lake instead. Once arriving, they'll see this grand offer refers to banana boats set out for people to use!

Hey, they're still pretty fun. And even if you don't engage in banana fun, there's the sea to cool you down, the sand to rest, beach balls to play games with, and plenty of refreshing fruity drinks available at shops, all ready to make sure you still have a good time.]

i. daytime, drink stalls
[He's not sure how he got roped into this situation of all things, a mood very reminiscent of the Auguste Isles and their tireless beach-goers. Somehow or another, those helping work the stalls have caught wind of his own previous work experience in beach drink stand management, so here is Sandalphon, apron on and cutting fruits to mix, ensuring the ice stays cold and generally looking at home in staying busy behind the counter.]

Mango strawberry up. Next-- You there, what would you like to order?

[Don't mind him if he seems overly serious. Although there certainly would be a +1 in his enthusiasm if anyone were to happen to ask about the coffee making set up he has at the counter near the fruit blenders. It's not too hot for beach weather TRUST HIM BRO. (Also iced, is acceptable too. If you must.)]

ii. shorelines at night
[By the time the sun goes down and starts to dip into the evening, Sandalphon has even settled into a more relaxed beach-appropriate look. Although he's not exactly jumping into the water or looking for a game to join, he can be spotted walking close to where the waves meet the sand, or sitting by some little hanging lights arranged over several chairs, tables and benches. If he seems to be tucked away by himself, that's on purpose- but more strange will probably be the two simple cups of coffee he has on the little table next to him. He only drinks from one and leaves the other there be, gazing upwards at the stars instead of to the waters ahead.]

What nonsense... If I didn't know better, one could almost mistake all this for our same sky. Perhaps you would have thought the same way.

[As someone who has been bullied for over-dressing at the beach, he's both unusually aware now of what kind of comments you might get and also decides not to be one of them. Especially so, given an opportunity to preach his gospel.]

... Most of the fruit drinks are. If you'd rather try something you can adjust the sweetness of yourself, this blend of coffee is intended to be just as refreshing. [>_>✨]
