I know none of this has been easy on any of us - all coming from different times and finding out things about each other. Whatever we are to one another we have always been the very best of friends and that hasn't changed and, as far as I'm concerned, never will.

You don't have to feel guilty, Rose. Not for anything. A lot of things happened, not all of them pleasant, and rather than deal with all the bickering we felt it was easier to let the hurt feelings die down. The quickest way for that to happen was for us to not be there, perpetuating the problems.

I know how you feel, if that helps. I've thought about how to explain what I felt a million times and now it comes to it, I'm not sure I've begun to do it properly.

How about we forget about it and start fresh? How are you, Rose?
