"I dunno." Malia shrugged her slim shoulders. "I hang out with my friends. I went to Trampoline World with Kira and Liam recently. You know, before all the zombies and stuff started. I like to watch TV and movies are good too. I like to experiment with music. I missed a lot of music while I was living in the woods so now I'm listening to a little bit of everything so I can catch up. I like most of it but some of it I like more than others. Right now she was on a big Tom Petty kick.

"I go to school but that's not really fun. At least, the school part isn't fun. I like seeing my friends though and I like watching them play lacrosse. Do you go to school? Maybe you could sit with us at lunch or something."

When Malia first started school, nobody wanted her to sit with them at lunch. She had gone to Scott to ask him to come back to school just so she would have some friends instead of being the weird outcast. Not only did Scott come back to school but he recruited Allison and Isaac and the rest of the pack to come back too. Now Malia had a big circle of friends and she felt really good about that.

Malia didn't actually have a lot of down time in Portland. Especially this month. Usually the wormhole only picked on them for a few days but this zombie stuff didn't seem to be letting up any time soon. Even before then there was always some kind of crisis going on that needed her attention.

"I like hanging out and trying new stuff." She smiled. "I like saving cute boys from being eaten by zombies." Yes, she had just said he was cute. Crisis or not, there had to be room for a little fun. "What do you like?"
