So, like, do me a favor and go through all the posts and let me know what's missing from your characters. This would be the time to drop holds you're no longer interested in, pull out characters you never intro'd from the housing page, etc etc etc etc etc.

So Stacey is being nice and letting me pretend this is my week, because I actually sat on this for a week, thinking that this was my week, as opposed to, you know, last week. You can logic it out with characters however you want, because it probably boils down to 'Ysa and Tricksy decided to be, well, tricky and screw with dates,' for the people who have figured out patterns and are taking careful notes. I know at least one of you is out there.

Anyway. Instead of screwing with people's abilities to keep things to themselves in a literal no-can-lie way, right now Ysa has made every character have all the feels. About everything. All the emotions, positive or negative, are super-heightened. So you might be ABLE to lie or just stay away from a topic but you don't WANT to, because everything is SUPER. EMOTIONAL. AND NEEDS. TO BE. DISCUSSED. NOW. Even if it's just look at the shiny thing.

Have, uh, fun with that.

IDK if she bothered putting in protections for people like Loki (the Norse one) whose really strong emotions can level buildings. Probably people whose really strong emotions would cause mass chaos ... the mass chaos is made slightly smaller so it doesn't destroy the property, but it's otherwise unchecked.

Sigh. These are both Stacey's fault. I was viciously enabled. She preyed on my weaknesses.

Hannah here with two new (old) pups. First up is Cara here, from Legend of the Seeker. Like Kahlan, she's post series. She is a Mord'Sith, that is a woman who was taken from childhood and broken down and rebuilt as a dominatrix warrior bodyguard. She carries two of her agiels (torture sticks) that are agonizing to even pick up, and finds social norms and emotions to be bewildering.

And secondly, there's Surreal SaDiablo, from Black Jewels, who is post Queen of the Darkness. Ex whore, not-so-ex assassin Gray Jeweled witch who can make your head explode with a spell.

Again I say, SIGH!

I am too lazy to log in as Tycho for this, WOOOO!~

It's 12:15 AM right now, which means that at least on this side of the country it is TECHNICALLY NOW Wednesday -- and thus, the time is right for me to post this, because Tycho's Latest Shenanigans are taking place immediately, and lasting for the duration. Everyone will wake up affected.

I fail at keeping track of things! Because my brain has been all over the place, I forgot to put a reminder for myself that it was Darcy's turn in the Playground. Even though we're half way through his week, I'll go for an old classic, the gender swap time!

HELLO MY DEARS. In regards to this plot event...

( Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain. Or, actually, do, because here there be plots. )

HEY GUYS. I'm actually awake as the date rolls over again. GETTING TIRED OF THIS and also having major IJ issues, but anyway! I am forcing myself and my computer to make this post.

The first thing that is going to happen with Ysa's week is that the outdoor sky is really not the way it used to be at first.

Because it's fading slowly through the entire spectrum of colors at a fairly slow rate; it starts the day at red and ends the day at purple, like most sunrises and sunsets actually do -- but it covers orange, yellow, green and blue throughout the day too. There are screen savers that do this! I totally can't find an example. I'm tired. But the sky is going to be all sorts of colors. All week.

The other thing is that throughout the next week characters will find themselves unable to lie. Actually, this will always be true of when Ysa's in charge; there will be some variant on not being able to lie, because she has issues. I'm going to change them up a lot as time goes on, though (Stacey, Leigh and Brady got in on some of the ideas because they were there, but I'll have a lot I promise).

THIS TIME it's straight up "can't lie," which means if the characters think of it they can still obfuscate around it, and it is only in effect on the network (meaning they can lie in person and text messages/notes). It also won't be happening to everyone at the same time; pick whenever you want during the week for as long as you want it to go on! I'm totally flexible and so is Ysa.

YOU GUYS ROCK. No, really. I enjoyed all the wargame posts and I hope you enjoyed it all too!

Even if Saetan should blow the battlefield to bits shortly (the field. Not the people. I am not Rude McModstein) because STACEY IS A TROUBLEMAKER, as of in-game SUNRISE TUESDAY (that would be today for everyone east of Cal-li-four-nigh-ay), your characters will be back in their apartments. Any wounds Karla was tending were given a healing boost, if you want it, and your characters can keep their favorite wargame weapon as a 'souvenir'.

TÉ THANKS YOU FOR PLAYING. And will be handing out some sort of award to the victors, once she picks the reward and the winners. Don't even ask how she decides, she's Té, it'll probably involve bubblegum and the Large Hadron Collider, and it could be tomorrow or three months from now (though more like, in the next week).

HI GUYS

So Tycho, here, has been the Power That Is for the past two days (since Monday started, so I guess technically that's almost-three). Now, logically, you may be asking, on the behalf of your poor bewildered characters, what has Tycho been doing to make life interesting* for the Playthings?

* yes, I do mean in terms of the Chinese curse of "interesting times".

The answer is: Nothing, apparently!

And the key to that is, of course, the apparently part.

Tycho is certainly quite pleased that there are so many new toys out and about, and has completely failed to issue any clear warnings about his own personal preferences, likes and dislikes, to any of them. So if some of those who have been around a Long Time remember, and feel like being nice to some of those newer residents, well, he's not going to stop them, but he's also not going to commend them for it, you know?

So far, if you have not been doing anything remotely harmful to the plant life in the area, you've gotten a free pass from Tycho.

On the other hand, if you're the kind of guy who ditches your cigarette butts in the grass, or who thinks digging things into the dirt because you're bored and you have something pointy is a great way of fixing that boredom, or you have some sort of magical pulse-blast that has a dangerous tendency to destroy the plant life around you... well, let's just say that Tycho has not put you on his Nice List, shall we?

Anything vegetative around you, as a result, is going to start looking Unfriendly. Think "holy crap, the oak tree tried to act like a Venus fly trap!" levels of unfriendly. That big tree overhead just dumped a lot of water on you, and now you're completely soaked with wet sappy pollen and all your cigarettes have been ruined. Run wild; the plants sure are! ;)

What's more, over the weekend (in case I forget to update again before then), things are going to get a whole hell of a lot wilder. Remember the movie Jumanji? Remember when the jungle took over the Parrish mansion?

Yeah.

The entire building's gonna be like that.

Because some lightness is needed in our lives, and because Jessi says it's my turn to have Darcy play, he is having his Powers trick of meanness!

You know how sometimes you put something like your phone down somewhere and then find it in the most random of places, and you could swear there was some kind of pixie moving things around? Well, right now, that pixie is Darcy! Things will be vanishing and reappearing in the most weird places. Like putting your keys down on the table and turning your back, just for a second, and then bam, vanished! And somehow in the fridge!
