& I'm dropping in to say hello
Who: Eden and Jamal
Where: Eden's room
When: Early afternoon
Jamal didn't really care for this journal on the computer thing. He hadn't ever liked computers or how important they were, or any of that, and he was starting to remember why. Because the keyboard didn't make any damn sense. The alphabet didn't start with 'q' the last time he'd checked yet on the keyboard that was the first letter. Why? What was so special about 'q' that it had to come first? He didn't even think that it was an important letter at all. Who the hell needed 'q' for anything? Dairy Queen, there, that was the most important use of the letter but they didn't have one of those in this house. He'd have loved one.
Right now though he was loving the fact that he was heading upstairs to check out a girl's room. Eden was a girl's name and she hadn't said anything that made him think it wasn't. Granted he didn't know what she looked like yet so she could still turn out to be a total waste of time... but hey, that was what first meetings were for. Figuring out whether or not the chick was worth the time of day. Girls probably didn't even act the same way when they knew that they were going to be stuck in a house with all the same people for an entire year. It just wouldn't do to go ahead and meet all of them in the first week. Skittles had seemed pretty fun. He'd have to find that girl with the colorful hair again sometime and see what happened this time. If he hadn't been so focused on running up and down the stairs last time then he'd have probably gone to get something to eat with her. But noooo he'd needed to get that run in...
"Focus!" Jamal hoped no one had been around to hear that. A quick glance showed empty hallways - weren't there supposed to be some more people in this place? - and he relaxed. Then he stopped, using a nearby window to check his reflection and make sure that his collar was smoothed down, and grinned at himself. Yeah, he looked good and he knew it. Eden had said hers was the room next to the one above his so that would mean... that door right there. The open one. Score, open door! His grin widening - like that was even humanly possible - he walked up and leaned in through the open door. And there, sitting on the floor, was the girl that he was going to assume was Eden. Otherwise he'd gotten the wrong room and would need to try again. Later, she looks worth some time. "Let me guess," Jamal started, leaning against the doorframe and pointing a finger at her. "Eden?"
