Searching for an RPG

Someone picking up Jareth Davies at bravenew_rpg would make my day!

He has never been played in game but he has been loosely NPC'd within the game. He is a 6th year Ravenclaw and Prefect who plays Chaser for his House Team. He has multiple active sisters in game. He also has friends both in and out of his house. All of these would probably be more than happy to provide him with backstory, plot & general mayhem.

I play multiple characters in game but the important one to him is IONA BRADLEY. She's also a prefect and considers herself a friend to JARETH even though for the most part she's only recently managed to learn how to speak to him and not trip all over the words. She's had a long time on and off again crush on him and has possibly fallen/ran into more things in his presence than any normal klutz should.

On the Hogwarts Express this year, IONA threw a book at him and hit him in the head because she was upset and wanted to be alone. She felt really guilty about taking out other stuff on him because that isn't like her. She confessed to mutual friend CHARLOTTE MACMILLAN (6th year Ravenclaw) that she'd had a long term crush on him that she knew was doomed to be unrequited. CHARLOTTE, however, decided to play matchmaker and encouraged him to spend more time with IONA.

Unfortunately, IONA didn't know what Charlotte was doing. Over the summer, IONA had her first kiss with JOSHUA IVES (7th year Hufflepuff & Prefect). When JARETH offered to help her study to cheer her up after JOSH publicly insulted her, it went over her head. When JARETH took an extra prefect shift one week to look out for her, she was distracted. IONA started seeing Josh a few weeks into the school year and have been very public about that fact.

JARETH has since implied to CHARLOTTE that he had started to have a bit of a crush on IONA himself and is sort of not in a happy place about any of these new developments. CHARLOTTE hasn't exactly told IONA this information so IONA is unaware. She just thinks that JARETH has been sick a lot recently and avoiding her for their weekly transfiguration study sessions which only started this year.

While it is fun to NPC him here and there, we'd much rather have someone to give him his own voice and maybe give us some insight into what is going on in the boy's head right now. It would also be nice to actually play with him. You can't play with someone who isn't there though. So this is me asking you to pick up you keyboard and order this character today. A hold on this character will get you complimentary love and cake.

Brave New World is a Harry Potter Next Generation game that has been around for while but joining is not daunting. Everyone is friendly and will help new characters and players fit in. It is highly active and there is always and abundance of plot (both character and mod driven). The major in-game plot for this school year is the development of a Muggle/Squib Liason program by the Ministry of Magic to help relations between the Muggle and Wizard worlds.
