Where: Along the Lake
What: Romilda is out for a walk after the service (as requested!)
Trying not to lose your own, boxing up everything, you’ve got
All you ever knew of home, you’re scared scared to
So much of her time at school had been marked with sadness. Romilda hated being sad. She hated seeing other people sad. It was impossible for her to be in a good mood when other people were miserable. The grief from the service was almost overwhelming. She had cried. The Headmistress was a good woman and a wonderful teacher. She was tough, but fair and Romilda had learned a lot from her. Her first year, Romilda had missed home so terribly that she was crying each night. It was the Headmistress who had given Romilda tea and some biscuits and assured her that she would come to love Hogwarts.
Walking slowly, her arm still in the sling, Romilda looked out over the lake. One year had already been spent in misery. This year wasn't looking to be much better. Two years more years of school had seemed like nothing and now.. now it seemed like an eternity.
Sitting down on a log, Romilda sighed. She should go inside, but the Gryffindor common room was likely going to be a very sullen place. She wanted to avoid it as long as possible.
