Hogwarts, meet the Ministry.
With the latest orders from the Ministry, the structure of the Prefect system at Hogwarts was the first change: Prefects have been paired by year and house, forming a team which cannot assign detentions or take house points without consulting one another. It was from this new policy that the Inquisitorial Squad was reborn: a student-run club designed to train interested students in Ministry issues and conflict resolution. At Hogwarts, things are orderly, organized, and above all, fair - or are they?
Prefects are finding new ways to abuse their powers and control others. Students retaliate in their own ways, bringing personal issues before the Inquisitorial Squad, treating it more like a Hogwarts' version of the Wizengamot than a wizarding Model UN club. A secret society runs amok in the student underground, their activities and intentions mysterious and seemingly neutral -- for now.
In a socially revolutionary game, the members of Absit Invidia invite you to join the new generation of wizards and witches as they return to Hogwarts, the war of their parents forgotten. Their new challenge? The battles of everyday life as a young magician; struggling to make friendships, remember charms and pass classes in the face of adjusted policies and countless possibilities. |

Tourist Trap?
Dear Sir or Madame
You have been selected to spend an exclusive, all expenses paid weekend inside the infamous Winchester Mystery House in sunny San Jose, California.
A car will arrive at your place of residence at promptly seven o'clock in the morning on Friday, November 19. Please have your bags packed, and be ready, as we would hate for you to miss your flight.
Upon arrival at the manor, we ask that you please visit the check in desk to make sure that you have access to everything that the manor has to offer. Secondly, you should check out our commons area to mingle with some of the other guests.
You will be staying in one of our luxurious rooms for the duration of your stay with us.
Dinner is served nightly at six-thirty in our luxurious dining hall, and don't forget to take a stroll through our luscious gardens. The only thing we ask that you do not do is venture out of your room at night. After all, the Winchester Mansion is a very large place. We wouldn't want you getting lost.
We hope you enjoy your stay.

Wolf Creek. A dense and overcrowded city named for the narrow stream of water that once ran down the middle of what was a small mining town. Unknown to the settling humans at the time, this creek formed the border between two wolf pack territories. Wolves in a constant battle against the growing population taking over their forests.
Two lycanthrope packs; One to the north, The Caedis, and one to the south, The Aeternam. Ever mindful of the street, named for the creek it was built on top of, that draws a line between their territories as they manage to share this sprawling city. Think of any long-gone deity from mythology. Now imagine that they aren't truly gone but instead that their essence lives on...is reincarnated inside of that guy who sits next to you on the bus every day. Or Maureen from Accounting. Or maybe even inside of you.
The old deities once existed, once walked the Earth, and mortals trembled at their names. Long ago, they each slowly faded out, their existence only remembered as fables and tales. During this decline, one deity gathered up and called upon his or her last reserves of power and influence to create a reprieve, of sorts, for them all. They would find their essence--their souls if you will--not dissipated amongst the matter of the Universe but instead reborn inside a mortal body. The gods would be mortal, yes, their power would be greatly diminished, yes, and they might not even remember what they once were, but they would at least exist. |

It has been a year since seal number thirty was destroyed. Since then, dozens of people from different universes - good and evil alike - have poured through the cracks in the universe that the seal created, dropping straight into the world that the demon, Lilith, so eagerly sought to destroy. Those brought through the seal proved to be nothing short of a challenge for Lilith, but with a clever plan already set into motion, Lilith managed to trick one of the Winchester brothers into breaking the final seal. In doing so, Lilith was killed - Lucifer, however, was freed from his cage for the first time in thousands of years. With nothing more than vengeance set in his heart against God and all of humanity, Lucifer began to work. War will no longer be coming. With Lucifer up top and his apocalypse well on the way, it is finally here.

THE CROWDED HOUR UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT 
WHY DON'T YOU JOIN US! The Crowded Hour is a dark multi-fandom game throughout several different time periods. The setting is realistic, biblical based, with supernatural and some science fictional tones. The concept is based on the character's abilities to travel through time (but not space) and freely visit the castle at different point's throughout its rich history. There is a purpose for your character being here and the game is plot-driven, though it is also easy for you to ignore many of the plot elements in favor of leisurely exploring the many different time periods: including a vibrant city, an apocalyptic wasteland, and even the garden of eden.
We are very welcoming to new players and there will be many opportunities for you to get involved, if you'd like. The Crowded Hour is dramatic setting, that warmly accepts original characters, historical persons and even real world personalities. The Crowded Hour has been open and actively running since March 2009 and and has currently fallen under new management. |
