Friending Frenzy! Wheeeeeeee!

Welcome to The Phoenix Flies Kick-off Friending Frenzy!

At over 70 members, more than 180 watchers, 60 prompts and more than 40 claims, we're off to a fantastic start! (Rumor has it that there are fics that are already done and ready to be posted... submission guidelines will be posted soon.) So while we all wait for next Monday's posting to begin, we're going to start things off with a little friending frenzy. Now's the time to catch back up with all your old friends from The-Site-Which-Must-Not-Be-Named as well as making some new ones as well.

Now, let the word go forth that the friending frenzy has begun! (That means "pimp.") This frenzy is being hosted by

phoenix_flies but anyone may participate. You don't have to be a member or watcher to have fun and make friends here (although, of course, we hope you'll want to watch and play along!) Posting begins on August 27th and the next community event is scheduled for September 8-9. (Specific details to follow soon!)

Your age: 25
For friending purposes, does age matter to you?: I'd feel more comfortable if people are of age, otherwise it's not an issue.
How you participate in fandom (writer/artist/beta/icon maker/vidder/lurker/official wearer of slinky red knickers): I read and write fan fic, although it might be fun to wear red knickers as well. I attempt to make icons, too.
Favorite HP characters/pairings: I adore Severus Snape [who doesn't?] Snarry is probably my favorite pairing, but I also like Snupin, Malfoycest, Lucius/Severus and other assorted pairings. I'm the type who will try fic based on almost any slash pairing.
Least favorite characters/pairings: I do not like Ginny at all and dislike pairings where she is involved. I'm not that thrilled about Lucius/Hermione or Filch/anyone either.
Favorite book from HP canon: I'll have to say Prisoner of Azkaban
Other fandoms that you dig: I'm into anime & manga fandoms like Saiyuki, D.Gray-Man, Black Lagoon, Claymore, and a bunch of others.
Anything else you want us to know?: My journal is more for fannish rambling than RL, sometimes about HP, other times about anime/manga.

	L I just had to comment and tell you how much I love your icon...and your pairings list. ;) Ooo, I just noticed you're a Saiyuki fan, what's your fav pairing there? 	Thanks! I love 35 & 85, too. I do like Sanzo/Goku, though [I guess it's my pervy side] & Hazel/Sanzo now and again. I'll read almost any slashy Saiyuki fic, - there are too many pretty boys in that fandom. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	I've gotten hooked on Snupin recently - can't seem to get enough of it. Thankfully there's plenty of fic for it. I love this icon. I've always thought Snape was a closet perv. so_severus made it. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
