Hurrah! We've had a fabulous fest, and we have to thank all of you for making it possible. Artists, writers, commenters, squee-ers, drabblers, drawblers, volunteers ... thank you all so much!

We'll be posting our masterlist, showcasing all of your work, on Monday, but in the meantime, please enjoy our closing community event - the final friending frenzy. Come in and hang out, make some new friends, and pimp it to your f-lists so that they can make some new friends, too! If there's someone who's fic you've admired, a new artist you found here and fell in love with their work, one of our prolific drabblers who particularly impressed you ... go on and friend them! The more friends the merrier, especially come the holiday season. :)

Welcome to The Phoenix Flies Kick-off Friending Frenzy!


At over 70 members, more than 180 watchers, 60 prompts and more than 40 claims, we're off to a fantastic start! (Rumor has it that there are fics that are already done and ready to be posted... submission guidelines will be posted soon.) So while we all wait for next Monday's posting to begin, we're going to start things off with a little friending frenzy. Now's the time to catch back up with all your old friends from The-Site-Which-Must-Not-Be-Named as well as making some new ones as well.

Now, let the word go forth that the friending frenzy has begun! (That means "pimp.") This frenzy is being hosted by phoenix_flies but anyone may participate. You don't have to be a member or watcher to have fun and make friends here (although, of course, we hope you'll want to watch and play along!) Posting begins on August 27th and the next community event is scheduled for September 8-9. (Specific details to follow soon!)
