Friending Frenzy! Wheeeeeeee!

Welcome to The Phoenix Flies Kick-off Friending Frenzy!

At over 70 members, more than 180 watchers, 60 prompts and more than 40 claims, we're off to a fantastic start! (Rumor has it that there are fics that are already done and ready to be posted... submission guidelines will be posted soon.) So while we all wait for next Monday's posting to begin, we're going to start things off with a little friending frenzy. Now's the time to catch back up with all your old friends from The-Site-Which-Must-Not-Be-Named as well as making some new ones as well.

Now, let the word go forth that the friending frenzy has begun! (That means "pimp.") This frenzy is being hosted by

phoenix_flies but anyone may participate. You don't have to be a member or watcher to have fun and make friends here (although, of course, we hope you'll want to watch and play along!) Posting begins on August 27th and the next community event is scheduled for September 8-9. (Specific details to follow soon!)

Your age: Old enough to know better, and old enough to not give a damn either. I'm over eighteen and that's all anyone needs to know.
For friending purposes, does age matter to you?: Over eighteen if you're going to click on my fics, but that's up to you. You're supposedly an adult, right? *falls down laughing*
How you participate in fandom (writer/artist/beta/icon maker/vidder/lurker/official wearer of slinky red knickers): Knickers? Who wears knickers? *looks around* I write. I draw, but it's really crappy. I give artists great ideas for drawings, tho. I don't beta, not anymore. That's about it.
Favorite HP characters/pairings: Malfoys, Severus, Harry when he's not being a twit, the twins, Charlie, Luna~ Pairings, I can read almost anything.
Least favorite characters/pairings: any pairing with Dumbledore is beyond eewwww.
Favorite book from HP canon: Canon? What is this canon you speak of?
Other fandoms that you dig: Highlander, SG-1, some Smallville, Buffy, Sentinel...

	friends back I have great concepts and absolutely no artistic talent grin I am a fan of not canon-raping the Malfoys and Snape, though. Fluffy Snape is better left to crack grin (Reply to this) (Parent)

	being an adult trully is subjective in fandom I've noticed, someone at 15 can be more mature than someone at 30. so eh age is a number it's arbitrary (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Too true, too true. For years, I kept secret that one of my closest friends was underage, but she was more mature than most of the older women writing slash. She still is, for that matter.
