Friending Frenzy! Wheeeeeeee!

Welcome to The Phoenix Flies Kick-off Friending Frenzy!

At over 70 members, more than 180 watchers, 60 prompts and more than 40 claims, we're off to a fantastic start! (Rumor has it that there are fics that are already done and ready to be posted... submission guidelines will be posted soon.) So while we all wait for next Monday's posting to begin, we're going to start things off with a little friending frenzy. Now's the time to catch back up with all your old friends from The-Site-Which-Must-Not-Be-Named as well as making some new ones as well.

Darn! And I had been looking forward to this for ages. I was probably at work, as usual. Meh. Still, the information!

Your age: 22

For friending purposes, does age matter to you?: Not really. If people are going to read something, they're going to do it regardless of age statements and locked entries. Quite frankly, I don't believe that it is my job to control someone else's sexuality, sexual experiences, and expressions of such. Yes, I do see written works as part of a healthy sex life, but that's me.

How you participate in fandom (writer/artist/beta/icon maker/vidder/lurker/official wearer of slinky red knickers): Well, I've been around long enough that I've written fiction, beta'd it, made a few icons, thought about making videos, tried to draw some scribbles, lurked unrepentantly, and wore everyone's slinky red underwear. What have YOU been up to? ; )

Favorite HP characters/pairings: Uhrm. I am back to digging on Severus again. He and I had a few issues following Book Six, but we’ve patched things up. Dumbledore and Sirius were always high up on the list, with Sirius being on top. All puns intend. I rather like a lot of the characters, because they are so varied. There are very few character that I don’t like.

Least favorite characters/pairings: As for the very few, I going to go with the craziest of the Death Eaters. Some psychos don’t deserve any love. That means you Greyback! Raunchy sex is one thing, but no love for you!

Favorite book from HP canon: Hrmm. This is a tough one, because I am currently reread the series backward and am rediscovering my original love for the books, what brought me to fandom in the first place. I am loving all of them, now that I’ve made my peace with Ms. R. killing sprees.

Other fandoms that you dig: There are a few. I love Star Wars, Underworld, Veronica Mars, Final Fantasy VII, Kingdom Hearts I and II (haven’t gotten to Chain of Memories yet), Smallville, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings and who knows what else. I tend to branch out at random.

Anything else you want us to know?: I like to show it and I like to shake it! = P
