Friending Frenzy! Wheeeeeeee!

Welcome to The Phoenix Flies Kick-off Friending Frenzy!

At over 70 members, more than 180 watchers, 60 prompts and more than 40 claims, we're off to a fantastic start! (Rumor has it that there are fics that are already done and ready to be posted... submission guidelines will be posted soon.) So while we all wait for next Monday's posting to begin, we're going to start things off with a little friending frenzy. Now's the time to catch back up with all your old friends from The-Site-Which-Must-Not-Be-Named as well as making some new ones as well.

Now, let the word go forth that the friending frenzy has begun! (That means "pimp.") This frenzy is being hosted by

phoenix_flies but anyone may participate. You don't have to be a member or watcher to have fun and make friends here (although, of course, we hope you'll want to watch and play along!) Posting begins on August 27th and the next community event is scheduled for September 8-9. (Specific details to follow soon!)

For friending purposes, does age matter to you?: No. If I post something that's not quite minor friendly, I'll mark it and the reader can use their best judgement.
How you participate in fandom (writer/artist/beta/icon maker/vidder/lurker/official wearer of slinky red knickers): Reader, beta, ranter, made a few icons and might get into writing now that Deathly Hallows is out of my brain.
Favorite HP characters/pairings: Severus Snape, Peeves, Lord Voldemort. I don't ship, please don't ask me to.
Least favorite characters/pairings: The Holy Trio, Dumbledore...most of the good guys.
Favorite book from HP canon: PoA
Other fandoms that you dig: Star Trek TOS, Star Trek TNG, Anita Blake, Avatar: The Last Airbender, SpongeBob SquarePants, Naruto, Ai no Kusabi. I've only written for Anita Blake so far though.
Anything else you want us to know?: I like many things that tend to squick normal people. Bestiality, BDSM, shota/loli, vore...you name it, chances are I'll read it at least once. Won't do much of it in real life; crazy enough, just don't think I could stomach doing it.
