Friending Frenzy! Wheeeeeeee!

Welcome to The Phoenix Flies Kick-off Friending Frenzy!

At over 70 members, more than 180 watchers, 60 prompts and more than 40 claims, we're off to a fantastic start! (Rumor has it that there are fics that are already done and ready to be posted... submission guidelines will be posted soon.) So while we all wait for next Monday's posting to begin, we're going to start things off with a little friending frenzy. Now's the time to catch back up with all your old friends from The-Site-Which-Must-Not-Be-Named as well as making some new ones as well.

	I find most of what I read in House is either House/Wilson (but more friendship than slash). And House/Cuddy - yeah, I know, het! I seem to be primarily an HP-slasher, for some weird reason. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Ew het! :P I know, it's difficult to resist to Cuddy, she's a great character. I liked her better in the first seasons though, befor the whle I-want-to-be-a-mom fiasco. And HP is made to be slashed, so many pretty boys -and men-, so many possible pairings... May I friend you? (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

I'm interested in where the show's going to go now that House's whole team is gone - I suspect that one of them may return (for some reason I'm thinking it will be Chase, because he's the only one that didn't leave of his own accord), but I'm not surprised they did it that way - there are only so many mysterious illnesses, you know?

I definitely prefer Cuddy to Cameron, as a female character in the show - but the Mommy thread was getting a little tired, for sure.

Me too. I'm hoping it will be Chase, and not just for slashy reasons, I swear! He always makes me laugh almost as much as House (at least when he's not chasing after Cameron like a puppy). And yeah, the show was getting a bit repetitive, they needed something to focus on other than House's addiction and weird illnesses.

Lol, between Cuddy and Cameron I'll take Cuddy every day! Especially when she tries to out-House House :) I can see why the pairing would work, with the banter, the stubborness and (well masked)affection.
The only pairing that really irk me are the ones that seems...to easy someway. I read an essay about Harry/Ginny some days ago that asked why this pairing is mostly written as extremely fluffy and vanilla, and I realised that it's a pretty common thing for canon pairing in fanfic. And it's also the reason I mostly stay away from them -I'm angst and snark addicted ^/^
