Friending Frenzy! Wheeeeeeee!

Welcome to The Phoenix Flies Kick-off Friending Frenzy!

At over 70 members, more than 180 watchers, 60 prompts and more than 40 claims, we're off to a fantastic start! (Rumor has it that there are fics that are already done and ready to be posted... submission guidelines will be posted soon.) So while we all wait for next Monday's posting to begin, we're going to start things off with a little friending frenzy. Now's the time to catch back up with all your old friends from The-Site-Which-Must-Not-Be-Named as well as making some new ones as well.

Now, let the word go forth that the friending frenzy has begun! (That means "pimp.") This frenzy is being hosted by

phoenix_flies but anyone may participate. You don't have to be a member or watcher to have fun and make friends here (although, of course, we hope you'll want to watch and play along!) Posting begins on August 27th and the next community event is scheduled for September 8-9. (Specific details to follow soon!)

Your age: 22
For friending purposes, does age matter to you?: If you post like my twelve year old brother (or if you are my twelve year old brother,) I probably won't friend you. If not - well, unless you specifically tell me, how am I to know? If you request not to see any NC17 stuff I might (not a great chance) post then I'll just make sure to friends filter it ;)
How you participate in fandom (writer/artist/beta/icon maker/vidder/lurker/official wearer of slinky red knickers): I'm predominantly a lurker. I like to comment on interesting friends posts but, generally, I don't update all that often. I do occasionally write - and I am always up for beta-ing anything a friend has written.
Favorite HP characters/pairings: Draco/Harry = OTP, Sirius/Remus, Albus/Scorpius, James/Teddy, I'll read Draco/other if it's well written but I like my Harry with Draco ;) snarky Slytherins for the win.
Least favorite characters/pairings: (graphic) Het is not my cup of tea (though fade to black as an offside pairing or as part of the story doesn't bother me)... Molly Weasley drives me nuts. I could take of leave Ginny and book 7 Remus kind of bothers me.
Favorite book from HP canon: PoA (though I honestly really enjoyed DH and it's probably my second favourite.)
Other fandoms that you dig: I usually stick to HP but I used to be involved in LotR and I like political!crack slash :P Maybe Alexander too... Jared Leto = incredibly hot bastard.
Anything else you want us to know?: I tend to infrequently post a variety of odd, rather pointless observations both fandom and RL related.

	Oh, Albus/Scorpius you say. giggles Haven't seen many of those as I'm still thinking the Epilogue was just copy pasted to DH by some 12 year old fangirl. 	how can you pass up a pairing like ASS? grins See... if I'm gonna read H/D - the epilogue is disregarded ;) But with names as hysterical as Albus Severus and Scorpius (plus metamorphmagi/werewolf whatnots) how can they be ignored!
