Friending Frenzy! Wheeeeeeee!

Welcome to The Phoenix Flies Kick-off Friending Frenzy!

At over 70 members, more than 180 watchers, 60 prompts and more than 40 claims, we're off to a fantastic start! (Rumor has it that there are fics that are already done and ready to be posted... submission guidelines will be posted soon.) So while we all wait for next Monday's posting to begin, we're going to start things off with a little friending frenzy. Now's the time to catch back up with all your old friends from The-Site-Which-Must-Not-Be-Named as well as making some new ones as well.

Now, let the word go forth that the friending frenzy has begun! (That means "pimp.") This frenzy is being hosted by

phoenix_flies but anyone may participate. You don't have to be a member or watcher to have fun and make friends here (although, of course, we hope you'll want to watch and play along!) Posting begins on August 27th and the next community event is scheduled for September 8-9. (Specific details to follow soon!)

For friending purposes, does age matter to you?: Not really, no.
How you participate in fandom (writer/artist/beta/icon maker/vidder/lurker/official wearer of slinky red knickers): I am in a few AU RPGs at GJ (one of which I mod) and play numerous characters (though Fred, Pansy, Andromeda and Dorcas tend to follow me from game to game). I also write some fic, almost all of it is about the twins and AU to Deathly Hallows.
Favorite HP characters/pairings: Characters: Fred and George, hands down. I'm also quite fond of Pansy, Katie and Andromeda. Pairings: Fred/George, Fred/Katie, George/Pansy, Neville/Luna, Andromeda/Ted, Severus/Lucius, Snarry, Harry/Draco, Sirius/Remus and a whole slew of others.
Least favorite characters/pairings: I will read almost anything, but if I had to pick, I'd have to go with Harry/Ginny. I also hate Umbridge, enough said!
Favorite book from HP canon: All of them except for DH. I have issues with that entire book.
Other fandoms that you dig: That 70s Show, Are You Being Served? various punk/alternative/classic rock fandoms
Anything else you want us to know?: My journal is a mix of fandom and RL, and I'm always looking for new friends. :)

	I do too! The old unofficial fan site was moved, I need to search for it. They keep changing the time of it here. I taped a bunch of the episodes back about 15 years ago and thankfully still have them! (Reply to this) (Parent)
