Friending Frenzy! Wheeeeeeee!

Welcome to The Phoenix Flies Kick-off Friending Frenzy!

At over 70 members, more than 180 watchers, 60 prompts and more than 40 claims, we're off to a fantastic start! (Rumor has it that there are fics that are already done and ready to be posted... submission guidelines will be posted soon.) So while we all wait for next Monday's posting to begin, we're going to start things off with a little friending frenzy. Now's the time to catch back up with all your old friends from The-Site-Which-Must-Not-Be-Named as well as making some new ones as well.

Now, let the word go forth that the friending frenzy has begun! (That means "pimp.") This frenzy is being hosted by

phoenix_flies but anyone may participate. You don't have to be a member or watcher to have fun and make friends here (although, of course, we hope you'll want to watch and play along!) Posting begins on August 27th and the next community event is scheduled for September 8-9. (Specific details to follow soon!)

For friending purposes, does age matter to you?: Prefer 18+, but, you know. Don't ask, don't tell.
How you participate in fandom (writer/artist/beta/icon maker/vidder/lurker/official wearer of slinky red knickers): Writer, occassional artist, roleplayer, generally lazy person.
Favorite HP characters/pairings: Snape! Snape/Lucius, Snape/Regulus, Snape/Remus, Snape/Harry. But that's not all! Snape/Narcissa, Snape/Luna, Snape/Lucius/Narcissa! Sirius/Regulus, because I am dirty. That said, though, I love gen and meta and character studies and things that don't involve porn. :)
Least favorite characters/pairings: I'll try everything once! I don't really like Harry/Draco, but I'll read pieces that are recommended, and I don't let shipping get in the way of friendship. :)
Favorite book from HP canon: I'm still high on DH.
Other fandoms that you dig: House, Star Wars, Neil Gaiman books, CSI (Vegas), Outlander, A Song of Ice and Fire, Kushiel's Legacy.
Anything else you want us to know?: I don't know how much I'll be using this journal for things other than posting fic and fannish squee, but I'm definitely looking for more people to poke at on the internet.
