Friending Frenzy! Wheeeeeeee!

Welcome to The Phoenix Flies Kick-off Friending Frenzy!

At over 70 members, more than 180 watchers, 60 prompts and more than 40 claims, we're off to a fantastic start! (Rumor has it that there are fics that are already done and ready to be posted... submission guidelines will be posted soon.) So while we all wait for next Monday's posting to begin, we're going to start things off with a little friending frenzy. Now's the time to catch back up with all your old friends from The-Site-Which-Must-Not-Be-Named as well as making some new ones as well.

How you participate in fandom (writer/artist/beta/icon maker/vidder/lurker/official wearer of slinky red knickers): Well, you certainly won't catch me wearing slinky knickers. I really enjoy the art of the drabble. I'll occasionally will draw bloody comics of the HP characters.
Favorite HP characters/pairings: I really don't have a favorite pairing, but Neville is my favorite character.
Least favorite characters/pairings: I hate anything Umbridge.
Favorite book from HP canon: Order of the Phoenix
Other fandoms that you dig: I'm more into the Dallas sports teams than a particular fandom. I do follow the Bravo tv contests. Top Chef is a big favorite.
Anything else you want us to know?: I am just your average guy. If average means heterosexual but supports online smut. I appreciate the emotion artists can put into a few words or with a few strokes of the brush.

The great

scarah made it for me. Through many chat sessions on Diagonally.org ripping on Nigel and Bem, we decided they were the OTP. Nigel is the made up for the HP movies conglomeration of the Creevey brothers, and Bem is the mode up HP movie character in PoA that says catching Sirius Black is like catching smoke.

	My favorite part of the entire HP series was OotP - St. Mungos, where Gran was belittling Neville in front of his friends, and Neville keeps the Drooble wrapper. Then the respect he gets throughout the rest of the series. Mind if a Neville fan friends you? (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
