Friending Frenzy! Wheeeeeeee!

Welcome to The Phoenix Flies Kick-off Friending Frenzy!

At over 70 members, more than 180 watchers, 60 prompts and more than 40 claims, we're off to a fantastic start! (Rumor has it that there are fics that are already done and ready to be posted... submission guidelines will be posted soon.) So while we all wait for next Monday's posting to begin, we're going to start things off with a little friending frenzy. Now's the time to catch back up with all your old friends from The-Site-Which-Must-Not-Be-Named as well as making some new ones as well.

How you participate in fandom: I'm a writer and an organizer. I mod several communities, including a RPG, edit the

snupin_prophet (the RL/SS newsletter), and I maintain the Snape/Lupin wiki. Oh, and I run the Snupin Santa holiday exchange on

lupin_snape.

Favorite HP characters/pairings: Snape/Lupin is my long-time OTP. I also like Severus/Regulus, Remus/Regulus, Remus/Bill, and Remus/Neville. My favorite characters other than Snape and Lupin are Luna, Neville, and Regulus.

Least favorite characters/pairings: Snape/Harry, Draco

Favorite book from HP canon: PoA

Other fandoms that you dig: I'm pretty monogamous when it comes to fandom, but other shows/books/films I like are Firefly, Heroes, Supernatural, Star Wars, Star Trek, Anita Blake (in the OMGWTF crack train wreck sort of way), the Dresden Files (books and TV show), Doctor Who, Survivor, Project Runway, Top Chef, anything by Neil Gaiman, anything by Terry Pratchett, Shakespeare, Jane Austen, Jane Eyre, and newly added to the list, the Kushiel's Dart series by Jacqueline Corey.

	Every time I think LKH can't make Anita any more of a Mary Sue, I read the next book, and... she does. I don't know why I'm still reading her, but I think sheer morbid curiosity has a lot to do with it. 	Yeah, I gave up several books ago, but it's still amusing to hear my friends spout off about how bad Anita is in the latest book. And I can at least thank LKH for making me so curous about WTF happened in CS that I discovered message boards and eventually LJ. (Reply to this) (Parent)
