Friending Frenzy! Wheeeeeeee!

Welcome to The Phoenix Flies Kick-off Friending Frenzy!

At over 70 members, more than 180 watchers, 60 prompts and more than 40 claims, we're off to a fantastic start! (Rumor has it that there are fics that are already done and ready to be posted... submission guidelines will be posted soon.) So while we all wait for next Monday's posting to begin, we're going to start things off with a little friending frenzy. Now's the time to catch back up with all your old friends from The-Site-Which-Must-Not-Be-Named as well as making some new ones as well.

I love both Darkover and Pern. MZB was probably the very first adult sci-fi/fantasy I ever read and I read the Menolly trilogy out of the YA section at my library when I was about 10. Hell, I like them so much, I keep reading the books out of those worlds even though MZB and Anne McCaffrey aren't the ones writing them any more.

(I am also a Gryffindor, almost always, though very occassionally I test Ravenclaw.)

	Yeah, I still have most of the books by MZB under my bed-can't seem to get rid of them. Even though Le Gunn was better (details wise) I love Darkover more. Hah! I don't care about various 'sorting hat's sites. Nothing but Gryffindor for me because they have Weasleys and fireworks ;) Ravenclaws have Luna but they don't seem to appreciate her. 	sure and Sirius can be amusing inmany ways wiggles eyebrows remember the time Evans tried to embarass Siri by charming his clothes into that of a girls' and had to deal with an obnoxious girlfriend As you can see-laughter is my anti-drug. 	I'm still thinking the Epilogue was just copy pasted to DH by some 12 year old fangirl. I red your comment on another entry and I couldn't resist, I feel exactly the same :D And now I'm regretting putting Sirius in my least fav characters, I love him when he's not being an ass. 	LOL Sirius-I love the potential of his character and I've always had a weakness for dark haired boys ;) I really had no chance when he appeared. He seemed so much more flawed and alive than Lupin. Friend away :) (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

*nods* Sirius has a lot of potential. I loved his brief interactions with Harry. Not to mention his flying motorcycle *cough*.

I guess me and JKR just have different ideas on what are acceptable flaws for our heroes -see Ginny. But his characterization is very realistic, he really comes alive as a character, even if sometimes I'd like to hit him in the head with a broomstick shouting "leave my poor Sevvie alone!" ^//^
