Friending Frenzy! Wheeeeeeee!

Welcome to The Phoenix Flies Kick-off Friending Frenzy!

At over 70 members, more than 180 watchers, 60 prompts and more than 40 claims, we're off to a fantastic start! (Rumor has it that there are fics that are already done and ready to be posted... submission guidelines will be posted soon.) So while we all wait for next Monday's posting to begin, we're going to start things off with a little friending frenzy. Now's the time to catch back up with all your old friends from The-Site-Which-Must-Not-Be-Named as well as making some new ones as well.

Now, let the word go forth that the friending frenzy has begun! (That means "pimp.") This frenzy is being hosted by

phoenix_flies but anyone may participate. You don't have to be a member or watcher to have fun and make friends here (although, of course, we hope you'll want to watch and play along!) Posting begins on August 27th and the next community event is scheduled for September 8-9. (Specific details to follow soon!)

For friending purposes, does age matter to you?: No. I like talking to people my own age, but as long as you're interesting and not trying to proposition me for sex or something, I'll talk to people of any age.
How you participate in fandom (writer/artist/beta/icon maker/vidder/lurker/official wearer of slinky red knickers): I beta fanfiction mostly, but I'm going to try writing now that DH is out there. I also fan~~girl~~boy on occasion.
Favorite HP characters/pairings: Snape is my favorite, most pairings involving him I'll read. My all-time favorite pairing is Sirius/Remus though.
Least favorite characters/pairings: Harry/Ginny and Lupin/Tonks
Favorite book from HP canon: HBP
Other fandoms that you dig: Star Trek, Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Final Fantasy
