the rough idea is of her being a life long athlete who debuted at the olympics in rio last year (loosely based on english gardener's stats) and won a few medals. did well in college which led her to strive for that goal. now however, is slumming in boston with her sister after an injury that took her out of a big track competition in london. poor relationship with her father and former coach because of his gambling debts that caused her parents divorce and his unwillingness to accept her bisexuality after coming out some years back. is currently in a 'what am i going to do? should i take the L and quit' state of mind, worried that rehabilitation isn't enough to be where she was and where she was going. i'm unsure if she's a native, grew up here after a move, or is somewhat new to the area. blah.

i love her already. depending on where she's from, they could have known each other for awhile! he was born in boston and stayed there until he was 12/13, but then moved to louisiana where he stayed until he was 21/22, and only moved back to the area about 2.5 years ago. so! if she spent any of her teen years in louisiana, they could have been on the track team together in middle & high school. or if she was born in boston, they could've been childhood friends. orrrrr if she's new to the area, we can figure out how/when they met. and he's pretty loudly pansexual himself and his grandpa was in denial about it until probably just last week, so they have that to bond over

after much debate and finally free from the clutches of work hell, i'll go ahead and say she grew up in boston, calling it one of her few 'homes'. they could be childhood pals that of course lost track of another until reconnecting upon a visit during the holidays when he moved back? the only time she's been away is for school and took up some residence on the west coast post college for continued training for competitions until any qualifying for the rio games. all the support and perspective needed when it comes to trying to live in their truth!

thank you! i just stared listlessly at my phone last night and did nothing else. he was the biggest problem child and engaged in all kinds of shenanigans and risky behavior, which he's really not very proud of now. >_> but oh my god i like want to send an entire group of speedsters to an all-you-can-eat buffet, where everyone else at the restaurant is just staring at them like "how? how can they possibly eat that much?" and adult bast is 100% for adventures, he loves 'em

doing the same right about now out of laziness. feel like she may shake him a little and ask 'whhhhhhhhy my precious?!?' jokingly. letting them rip through whole buffets will either get them kicked out or draw a crowd where the restaurants are banking to make money off of the spectacle. she will need it not to fall in this weird slump of a space she's been simmer close to.
