pier guys guys. i. slept. after. three. days. finally. give me a brother to celebrate. and other lines too since we've lost a few faces and gained whole new ones. rafe's approaching his sixth anniversary as a seasider and commutes to los angeles and elsewhere because a) sleuths often choose not to operate where they also live, and b) his brother's firm is in la which sources half his clientelle. he's a reformed bully acquitted of manslaughter in his senior year (full story within for the curious), went navy (full jaime lannister story not yet within), then back to full-time rake until his bro straightened him out. he has a complicated friend creature in tott, maybe even best, or at least the only who's managed to stay committed to a superficially charming asshole, for reasons that are beyond him. must be a mormon thing. he has a handful of other connections but i'm not sure at this point who's coming and who's not, plus i love the organic convos so far. i prefer a few strong organic lines over a trove of forced ones, but if you want to pitch a plot-driven backstory, i'm all ears! if you're new and don't have access to his bio, hit me up anyway.
