Everyone should go (Don't walk, run!) to spentmod and join in on the good times. The game is active, established, and always has something fun on the go. This month, it's the staff Valentine's Day party, the Secret Valentine Drop-Box, and a writing challenge, among other staples like the office suggestion box, lots of character development exercises, and interesting characters.
Adds happen every couple of days, and there are a multitude of free positions kicking around. It isn't the game of the week, but you can be damn sure that it'll be around in two weeks!

OK. I want to find a community where people actually write instead of just comment war and chat IC on AIM. One that isn't going to die as soon as I am added. I want to find somewhere where people care about characters instead of just their PBs, and where people will branch out beyond their pre-worked-out "omg we have to be BFFs!" storylines and talk to others and let things develop naturally.
Does anywhere like this even exist? Or is it just a pipe dream?

really hoping to bring her in by next adds. with that said, would anyone be interested in playing her ex-husband? passionate as it was, their romance was very short-lived. (i'm thinking they eloped in vegas, but details still need to be ironed out.) there's some stuff about her in her journal. the ex works in the industry -- not necessarily with film -- and is in his early thirties. otherwise, his personality is pretty open. comment/pm if you'd like brainstorm :)

Isla Fisher PB in need of a husband. The idea is they were both on vacation in Las Vegas about a month ago, got married, and then she disappeared. He went back home to Walnut Creek and a month later she has showed up to play house. Young or old husband works. Two are opposites. She's a free spirited and flaky while he's very straight laced and a work-a-holic. AIM based. Community is infomaniac. Would die for a Matthew Perry PB but realize the odds of that are slim to none.
