THE SETTING Rural New Jersey, 2010. Paradigm, a smallish town near the coast, just a few miles away from Ocean City.
THE MAIN PLOT The belief that media has a large effect on the behaviors of children and teens has been around for quite a few years now. What if it was true? What if there were kids, teens--adults even!--who acted just like all those stereotypical characters on the screen? Paradigm is a roleplay game of the interaction between characters fitting the common archetypes of popular media fiction; from "The Prince" archetype in fairytale and disney movies to the "The Dojikko" archetype in anime and manga. It's all original character in completely stereotypical categories, set in a town where strange things are treated like the norm.

Game Starts Today: January 30th, 2009. Accepting Holds & Applications Immediately!
After the events of March 29th, 2007 our Heroes are disheartened, spread across the U.S., and quickly losing their numbers. And to make matters worse, one of their own was working up a plan that would sacrifice his peers to better himself. As if that weren't enough, someone is out there with malicious intent toward people who are "special". Someone is hunting and rounding up anyone with abilities. No one knows who the hunter is or where the hunter comes from. And no one knows where their peers are going. Will opposing sides find allies in each other to end this menace, or will they do as they always have and serve only themselves and their own purposes? Only time will tell... and time is something they're running out of.
HeroesFugitives will parallel Volume 4 of the series starting from March 30th, 2007 (after episode 3.13 Dual) and run in real time. We will be mostly AU from there, but will incorporate some of the events that take place in the rest of season 3 with our game.

would anyone want to help make/participate in a private pb comm with like 4 girls and 4 guys that are in their last year of high school in north carolina? it would either be on ij or commiejournal and we'd have nightly chats and actually take part in doing action scenes in the chats, if it would be wanted by the other members. also, there probably wouldn't be any type of update required, but sub comms in case you're feeling a song or something. kind of like mini storybook scenes where they just all have fun. so yeah would anyone be interested?
