Since the dawn of time they've been blamed for all of life's oddities. A strange noise? It must be a ghost. Pets mangled and eaten? Maybe a werewolf got them. That pale man that never ventures out in the day? A vampire, surely. Children behaving badly must be changelings, and that table had to have been forced into your path by a mischievous sprite, now giggling at your misfortune.
The list goes on. For each being, there are hundreds of tales, most pure delusion of course, though much of it based in fact.
From Nessie and Sasquatch to the Bermuda Triangle and the Land of Mu, our world is filled with the unattainable, the unexplainable... that which we call Myth, or Legend.
Yet, like the Will O' the Wisp, or the ghost breath that sends a shiver down your spine, the truth tugs softly at our conscience. Whispers in the dark of a boogeyman in the shadows, or a fairy spinning gossamer tales in the corners of your mind. They are real. And in so many ways... they are just like you. They work. They feed. They even have children. And just like humans, those children go to school.
School however, isn’t always as just classes and homework. Strange old castles often have far more lurking about them than is so readily apparent. Ancient curses have once been set loose on the school. Memory loss. Sickness. Power switching... Was it an accident? Or are more sinister plans afoot? Will it happen again? Here you just never know...

He was married to another woman during their whole courtship and neither woman knew about the other for the three years that they were engaged. (You would think a three year engagement would sound fishy, right?)
I don't care about the PB or the character's age (39 at the very least, though. She was about 29 when she had the child and she isn't the type to run around with a teenager.) I would just feel lucky to find someone who doesn't exclusively play twenty-somethings.

I would die if someone brought BOBBY SINGER (Jim Beaver) around, everyone would love to have him at the community. He would be a pretty big character in the game and icons can be provided if need be. I would also love to get a CAM GIGANDET (do not care that he's in the Twilight movie. He was pretty badass in Never Back Down, though) played by for a specific storyline with this girl Jo. mythos - As the Eris (goddess of chaos) player, I'd love to get a Harmonia. She was the Greek goddess of harmony and concord. I picture the character as a massage therapist (minus the "happy ending") for some reason, but it's not necessary. I'm open on details. I just see some really amusing clash potential. The myths can be reincarnated as male or female, so either would do.
Ananke, Apollo, Aristotle, Athena, Enyo, Eurydice, Euterpe, Melpomene, Orpheus, Pan, Polyhymnia, Pelops, Hypnos, Hephaestus, Hera, Thanatos, The Apple of Discord, Urania, Zeus and a variety of other myths are also still open!

This is how the world falls apart.
It starts eighteen months ago. The legislation that requires all metahumans to register is hotly debated, but passes in the end. Medical testing commences - genetic rights are forfeit. There are whispers of a cure, but it's too late. Those who resist are neutered, their powers stripped from their blood by vaccine or branding. Metahumans protest, demonstrate, and things are turbulent, but can still be salvaged.
Then the Sentinels come. With labels from Stark Industry, technology stolen, revamped, used against us. Public executions begin, of high-profile Metahumans. Wayne Academy collapses under its own political weight. The Hero Network, an organization of metahumans from every walk of life, sinks into the shadows to defend its kind.
And then the prisons open.
Now, August 2009, there is no defense. There is no escape. We will hide, we will run, we will try our hardest to survive. But we will still be betrayed, see each other at our worst, fight our hardest. Join the fight. Pick a side.
