some friends and i have three characters that we are considering moving to a thread-based psl. they are three friends who are well to do upper east siders (yes, using gossip girl pbs - chace, penn, & leighton - so sue us) who had all had some trouble thrown their way. if we move it to a thread-based psl we are going to be looking for a few people (gg pbs and some others) to fill lines. it is full of drama, for sure. and there would be some basic premade descriptions as we have been trying to fill some characters for awhile. just wanted to see if anyone would be interested in getting involved and i could post more information later today.

so you wanna kill your character?
This is a character I first made over on GJ themed after the movie Meet Joe Black, he is a rather specific character with a very specific storyline. The mods of any community he goes into need to be aware of him and be okay with it. He is really fun to play, and I'd like to think others enjoyed having him around too. So here it goes.

I am looking for someone who is planning on killing off their character and wouldn't mind bringing in a complex Death coming to visit storyline. (Their planned death could be tomorrow or anytime, even just a vague idea in the future - they just are supposed to eventually.) They can die any way you wish, but they need to be a little bit unaware of it until they meet Joe Black.

I have a feeling it is going to be very hard to find this storyline, but any takers?
Supernatural/faux celeb communities don't work for thie character.

We Go There is a degrassi fandom LJ RPG set just before the 5 year class reunion. They may be older, but they STILL go there. Still a lot of great characters out there to fill, and we do accept original PBs!

There are some storylines in my journal, but I'd particuarly like:

  • A child. They'd be around 15-20, either gender. I was thinking someone like Miley Cyrus if you go with a daughter - PB is completely negotiable though.
  • His ex girlfriend. She had the above child with him, however no longer really has anything to do with them anymore. Her and Tristian remained friends after they split up and are still good friends today. PB is completely negotiable, I was thinking perhaps someone like Emilie De Ravin or Ali Larter.
  • A younger sister. They'd need to be pretty trashy, so maybe someone like Audrey Kitching? Again, completely negotiable.

    Otherwise older characters in general would be great!

    i am DYING to find a community to bring a character to. i don't know what kind of character or anything like that but i know i want a more simple community. i.e. schools or cities or maybe a faux celeb community. a place that's friendly and very active, journal wise as well as threading and on aim, and a community with members who throw out storylines like we should throw out free condoms and not based on the face of your character. if you know a place like that, please let me know!

    What if they were real?
    The myths and legends.
    The things that go bump in the night.
    What if they were just like you?
    Since the dawn of time they've been blamed for all of life's oddities. A strange noise? It must be a ghost. Pets mangled and eaten? Maybe a werewolf got them. That pale man that never ventures out in the day? A vampire, surely. Children behaving badly must be changelings, and that table had to have been forced into your path by a mischievous sprite, now giggling at your misfortune.

    The list goes on. For each being, there are hundreds of tales, most pure delusion of course, though much of it based in fact.

    From Nessie and Sasquatch to the Bermuda Triangle and the Land of Mu, our world is filled with the unattainable, the unexplainable... that which we call Myth, or Legend.

    Yet, like the Will O' the Wisp, or the ghost breath that sends a shiver down your spine, the truth tugs softly at our conscience. Whispers in the dark of a boogeyman in the shadows, or a fairy spinning gossamer tales in the corners of your mind. They are real. And in so many ways... they are just like you. They work. They feed. They even have children. And just like humans, those children go to school.

    School however, isn’t always as just classes and homework. Strange old castles often have far more lurking about them than is so readily apparent. Ancient curses have been set loose on the school. Memory loss. Sickness. Power switching... Was it an accident? Or are more sinister plans afoot? Unanswered questions abound as the students and staff first try and understand exactly what has happened to them...
