friendly exes would be great! from when-abouts are you thinking? he's 25 now but he's always lived in new york.

she's almost 23, so there's not too big of a gap. maybe it could've been within the last year? she graduated and was going through a lot of changes in terms of living situation and settling into a job and all that, so it could've just been one of those situations where they didn't have enough time for each other.
