Hey, neighbors.

I'm new here, just moving in, and I hear this is how you let the world know. I'm Kal, lived in LA before but just came back. Work for Nat Geo and travel a lot so I'm going to probably be in and out. But hey, if you ever want some random information about foreign places, I'm your guy.

I actually know Chris who lives here. We went to school together. SURPRISE, I'M YOUR NEIGHBOR.

God, what's up with all the animosity? I thought you'd be happy. It's a surprise, bro. Learn to enjoy things. And if this is all that it takes to give you a heart attack maybe I should drag you to the gym. Show you how to use the arm machines. Maybe get you into water aerobics.

Also, kuku thinks she'll just drag me down. All this crap about my being "young" and needing to "live life." I've been to every continent, I think I'm ok on that front and she just doesn't want to accept she's getting old and needs help every once in awhile.

And damn right I'm on your floor. We can have sleepovers and do each other's hair. :D

Sounds like when we finally put abuela in a nursing home. If you need tips, I've got pamphlets.

You mean I do your hair? Because you have way more of it than me. Are beard braids a thing? I know ornaments are.

Well maybe if you didn't need a babysitter I wouldn't have to be here in the first place. Gotta keep an eye on you, bro.

And you can braid the shit out of my beard, I bet that'll feel nice. Like a face massage. You don't keep track of my instagram, do you? Totally had my beard braided and ornamented while I was in the islands.
