Crappy night at work. Crappier walk home in the rain because I missed the last bus.

But all is not lost.

Meet

She was soaking wet, half-starved and looked like she'd gotten into a scuffle (hopefully with another cat). Good thing there's a convenience store on the way home--I had to hide her in my jacket to buy her food.

I'm glad she's here with me, now. ~~More than anyone can imagine.~~

	She's currently found herself a place snuggled into the corner of the couch where my feet are. I need to take her to the vet when I have a little extra for her shots. They do. We may not understand it at the time, but they do. (Reply to this) (Parent)

	Ah. The kitten brings out everyone. ;) I'm working on having a teeny get-together, seeing as my apartment is about half the size of the old one. Of course, if I set up food and drinks in the hallway and leave my door open, it helps with mingling. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Small, adorable animals do have the tendency to do that. Though I was still planning on dropping by with some kind of apartment-warming gift. It's only neighborly - the cat will be a plus. Sounds great! Let me know when and I'll move my schedule around. I need some kind of excuse to meet more people here, especially since the Halloween party was kind of a bust.
