Naea is feeling quite peckish while working on Algebra homework (why math always made her hungry, she'd never know) and realizes that she hasn't really taken the time to poke at her friend who mysteriously also arrived very near the same time as she did to Pax. On a whim, she ceases her penciling in of x-(4+71)24 to pick up her cell.

Ring...

[the sounds on the other side are muffled as she puts her hand over the receiver and finds a quieter place to talk... and when she returns, the sounds in the background are much quieter and subdued] Not a party, just... That much hasn't changed, Naea. [she's quiet for a while, humming softly, attention faltering as a group of laughing children go by, and she bites her lip, wanting to follow after in wake of their cheer]

[Then she gets herself back to the conversation] Uhm... Well. Do you wanna do something this weekend, maybe? I'm not sure what, but... is there something going on that you'd like to do?
