I hope you're right. I'm hurting more now, I think, than I did when he was dead. And I didn't think that was possible.

So he told you. I'm not really surprised. Not upset, either. I'm surprised the whole damn town doesn't know what I did. I think they'd probably stone me if they did.

Gone? Really? I noticed he hadn't pestered me in quite a while. Maybe Clark found him and kicked him from here to the moon? Or worse... he might have done worse.
