You know what, I guess I'm going to go walk around outside and wait until I find some idiot who thinks they’re awesome and totally capable of doing whatever they want because one time, back home, they saved a kitten from a drain pipe. I figure I can be nice and at least throw them out of the way before they get their head bashed in.

A good samaritan needs to help some of these people around here fish their brain cells out of the toilet they obviously dropped them in.

I saved a kitten from a tree once. I think this qualifies me as invincible.

I think you must be right. I saved some woman's dog from getting hit by a car once. This must also make me invincible. We can go out and do whatever we want now.

We're just awesome. No one can mess with us, obviously. Lets make shirts about how cool we are. And then ignore anyone who tries to tell us otherwise.

That sounds like it's gonna be really awesome, Kara. We'll have to make sure to wear our special shirts everywhere so that everyone knows how cool we are. One look and they'll know not to question our decisions, no matter how stupid they sound. We'll be superior.

It's going to be so awesome. Plus you just have to respect the Lightening Bolt and the "S."

Now...why are we talking like this?

If someone comes skipping along and decides that they don't feel like respecting those things, we're free to kick them. Remember that for the future.

Stupid people.

But I might break them if I kick them.

Ah. Good reasoning.

Gently tap them. If you're careful, you'll only end up breaking an arm, which would then serve as a good reminder.

I thought so too.

I'm not all to sure breaking bones of humans is smiled upon. But I can glare evilly at them. I've heard that works well at times.

Some of them need it. They'd thank you later. But glaring works wonders, or so I've heard.

All of them. The ones on the streets and that vampire talking to Buffy about Caleb, the ugly one, not the blonde one.

You're going to have to be more specific about "the ones on the streets". Just people in general?

I have complete and total faith in your ability to think of equally embarrassing questions.

Now tell me, have you never seen a woman naked or am I just so stunning that all you can say is 'sorry'?

Lana
[info]just_impulse

See! I knew you were gonna ask something that is beyond embarrassing. And isn't it all right and proper that I say sorry over and over again when I walk in on someone when they have no clothes on? I think my mom would have approved of apologies after that.

Bart

But you're so cute when you're embarrassed! And it's not like I thought you did it on purpose. One 'sorry' was enough.

I am not! Stop it. Yeah, but more than one is so much better. And I can think of a whole bunch of other people who would have thought I'd done it on purpose.

Good.

You can't rush this. You have to wait until I think of a really good one. It could come at any moment, so you should stay prepared.

I've saved kittens before, and not just from drain pipes. Saved a few puppies too. Though I'm not going to do just whatever I want. Rules exist for a reason.

I think we all know that you beat every last one of us in the baby animal saving department. You've lost track of how many you've rescued, haven't you?

(Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

[info]boy_scout

That's true... but only because I hadn't bothered to count them in the beginning. Did you rescue any today?

[info]just_impulse

You actually keep track of all the animals you rescue? That brings you to a whole new level, Clark. No, can't say I did. I usually don't go out looking for kittens stuck in trees.
