Since some of us come from different worlds and we don't all know how to play the same sports I have decided to invent my own. It will be called Sports Ball and it will be played on a Sports Court. I don't know what all the rules are yet, but it will be awesome and it will involve ALL the sports equipment we have.

Rule number one is that each team must include an animal. I'm picking Rinny for my team, so someone better start training a goat or something.

Are you serious? Because I'm up for training a goat. I mean why not. Also how do the animals fit in or is that something you haven't actually come up with yet?

I'm totally serious. Rinny is a catching and fetching machine and could be the MVP. Goats are also quite nimble and smart, so they could be good too. I'm open to suggestions for rules. I think points are going to be scored by getting all the balls in a certain area. The animals could be used to steal the other teams balls.

I'm going for chaotic, complicated, and awesome, so the more crazy rules the better.

What kind of an animal is Rinny. You many have said so up there and I missed.

Well obviously you get more points for a steal if you get to the goal. That's what I think.

Ah, sorry, I should have mentioned that, I forgot you weren't here when we got him and Maria was keeping him out of the way while she was laid up.

He's a dog. A german shepherd puppy to be exact. I play catch with him sometime with one of the tennis balls, or a frisbee.

Sure, obviously. Unless the other team gets balls in all four squares before you reach the circle..

I heard there was a dog but I haven't seen him. The gods will give us pets?

He's probably really good at playing ball, I don't know how well I'll do with training a goat. It might end up being pretty hilarious though before it's done with.

They did that one time, but I think maybe he was intended to be a working animal to help with the sheep. He's young, though, so he's still learning.

I was thinking we could allow tackling, and a goat would be really good at butting people and knocking them down. But then I reconsidered the safety of actually training an animal to knock people down, even just in play. I do think a goat kicking or butting a ball would be hilarious. Or even just running around causing chaos.

Here's the question though. How does one train a goat? I've done a lot of things in my line of work but goat training, nope. I guess I could just do it by trail and error. I figure it would easier to train a goat than the chickens.

Although chickens running around and getting in everyone's way would be damn funny.

Honestly? I don't even know if it's possible. Goats are pretty smart and sociable but I don't know how trainable they are. Certainly they are much, much smarter than chickens.

There should probably be chickens, but I don't know if they can be on a team. They might just be more like moving obstacles. Free agents of chaos.

Whatever this game turns out to be, it sure as hell won't be boring.

That's pretty much the entire goal.

Sounds like a pretty worthy goal to me. You bring the dog and I'll bring the goat and we'll see what happens.

That sounds like the punch line of a horrible dirty joke.

Oh my god, It really does, doesn't it? Not unlike a priest, a rabbi, and a minister walk into a bar..

I don't even what to contemplate what the set-up would be in this case.

It's probably best that we don't consider it.
