WHO: Anya Jenkins and Mirta Gev (open to Hyperion later?)
WHAT: Falling into the trap of horror movie dumb blonde stereotype
WHEN: night of the 5th
WHERE: between a magic shop and the Hyperion
RATING: TBD, but rated for some violence
STATUS: In progress
She'd lost track of time, browsing in the magic stores for various spell ingredients. Many of the basics needed to be stocked up on and Anya was wanting to try out some new spell combinations and was checking out quite how big of an explosion mixing a couple of the more volatile plant roots would be. Before she knew it, it was already past sunset, something which made her scowl as she left the shop. Her planned 20 minute run for supplies had turned into hours and she was entirely out of stakes. Plus with the various ingredients and books now weighing her arms down, she couldn't exactly cast any defensive spells.
She looked up at the night sky and sighed. "Oh penis."
Still, it was only a short walk back to the Hyperion. She set her jaw determinedly as she started off at a brisk pace, anxious to get in before any vampires noticed the former demon wandering around. She tried to convince herself that the prickles at the back of her neck were just because of the shadows. The not moving shadows. Everything was going to be fine.
Urgh
She was actually faintly disgusted with herself, the blonde carrying an armful of shopping as she walked alone on a dark night. It was like the ultimate cliche. Maybe I should go back to brunette again she mused as she kept walking, never slowing her pace. But those shadows were moving, it was undeniable now. Vampires slinking out of the dark, two of them in fact.
Anya inhaled sharply a moment before she called out, still walking. "I'm friends with Slayers you know. It would be a bad idea to try and eat me."
A low laugh came out from the dark as a vampire moved quickly to step out in front of her. Anya jumped with surprise, her grip tightening on her bag. "But it's so fun to annoy Slayers," the vampire smirked, his fangs showing. Anya shook her head, incredulous despite the situation.
"What are you, retarded? Annoying Slayers ends up with you no more than an itty little pile of dust."
She sensed more than saw the second vampire approaching from behind her. This was not going to go well. A fact confirmed when Fang One nodded to Fang Two and Anya suddenly felt a sharp pain in her face as Fang Two punched her hard. She fell to the ground, dropping the bag as she tasted blood in her mouth. Great, a split lip and no doubt a large bruise tomorrow. Assuming she lived to tomorrow. Anya began weighing her options. A spell of some kind was possibly doable, but would take time, time she wouldn't have against vampires. Getting up and trying to run would be pointless, they were a lot faster than her. And the odds of there being help nearby were slim.
"Oh double penis."
