Selina had not even been in town twenty-four hours and she was already up to no good. Last night, while people were fretting over demons, vampires and other preternatural nasties, Catwoman had begun hitting Los Angeles' finest jewelry stores—after regular business hours, of course—and had made off with tens of thousands of dollars worth of priceless gems, as well as some cash. (What? She'd only taken enough to live off of well survive!) Despite there being oodles of more interesting things going out in the city, her little crime spree had still made into the papers and onto the television screen.
Fortunately for her, all of the people who had witnessed her escape couldn't give an accurate description to give to the police. Some even claimed she might've been some kind of supernatural creature, which struck her as pretty amusing.
Aah, if only Bats remembered who she was, then the case would be solved and all of the wacky claims could be put to rest....
Hmm. Maybe not.
She much preferred the anonymity, as she could hide in plain sight and no one suspect her of a thing.
Unbeknownst to her, however, there were plenty of people in this city who would already know who she was. The only question remained was if they'd tattletale on her or not.

Standing outside of the Bradbury Building, the Feline Felon was dressed very weather appropriate: black, skinny leg jeans, a matching under shirt and a gray sweater-coat. (They might've been in California, but it still got a bit chiller during the Winter.) With all of her clothes back in Gotham not doing her any good, she had to go on a little shopping spree to procure herself a new wardrobe—not that she was complaining; shopping was always a fun undertaking. Especially when you had the green to spend on things that didn't have to be on sale.
While she waited for Bruce to make an appearance, she took to watching some of the passersby. It was after sundown and according to pretty much every message board post she had skimmed over read, vampires wandered the streets. Los Angeles was definitely giving Gotham a run for its money in the strange department, that was for sure.
