It would seem that no matter what anyone had said to talk her out of it, Yue was going to go ahead with seeking out the solution to the current problem. She was feeling very useless, and hanging around the Hyperion all day wasn't helping anyone at all. She had died. She had died saving the moon before. Everyone had kept it from her that she was supposed to be dead. She was taking up space on this Earth when she was supposed to be resting somewhere. She was a very pissed off, confused and sad princess and yet she was too passive to act on that. So she left them all. Armed with a chair leg and a bag full of what very few items she owned, Yue snuck out of the hotel that had been her home for so long. She knew that she really shouldn't have been leaving without telling anybody or without bringing someone with her but she wouldn't get anything done if everybody was telling her she was foolishly being noble.
The blonde princess made her way down the unlit street cautiously. Leaving without her newly appointed bodyguard who she didn't know at all and without pizza to pay him definitely wasn't how she would go about her current task. People thought that she was a fragile little doll and tried to advise her against anything. Well she would prove them wrong, she would sacrifice herself and they would have the sun back. All she had to do now was find the actual fish or she was wasting her time.
She heard footsteps off up the street slightly and she stopped in her path. She refrained from asking the usual "Who's there?" and looked behind her slowly. Caught off guard, a hand grasped her by the throat and pushed her against a nearby building. "Well," the vampire drawled. "Look what I have here! All fresh and unsuspecting, too."
Yue gasped for breath, holding out the makeshift stake uselessly. She had no idea what to do with it. A bodyguard would have been good right about now.
