WHO: Cordelia Chase and Darth Caedus
WHAT: Meeting so Cordelia can throttle him personally for drinks.
WHEN: An hour or so after this.
WHERE: The bar where they initially met one another
RATING: TBD (may be high)
STATUS: In Progress
When Tenel Ka had first told Cordelia about Darth Caedus, and his deception, at first she'd been hurt and confused. She couldn't understand why Caedus would feel the need to pretend to actually care what she had to say when he was just using her, and likewise couldn't figure out how he was actually using her considering he'd never once asked her about Angel Investigations or anything else that might benefit him as a villain type.
However, within a few moments of the news sinking in, Cordelia decided that she wasn't nearly as hurt or confused as she was angry. Angry at herself for being manipulated so easily, especially. Caedus was a bad guy. It was his job to be deceitful. She was supposed to be able to pick up on those things, and had been completely and utterly duped this time.
That, she decided, was not going to happen again.
So with very little thought to the personal risk, Cordelia sent "Jason" a text message, asking to meet with him. Then she busied herself with getting ready for her little encounter. A nice outfit that clung to her in just the right ways, an hair-do that accented her high cheekbones, and all of the other various tricks of the trade that any former beauty queen had memorized. By the time she left the Hyperion, she looked damn good and she knew it.
A fact made obvious when she entered the bar and most every head turned in her direction. The dirty looks from the women present, and the jaw-dropping expression on the faces of most of the males, Cordelia was definitely going to be the talk of the night. Especially when she finished with her little rendezvous. Because if people thought that hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, they clearly had yet to encounter Cordelia Chase when she was this pissed off.
Although for hte moment, she wasn't allowing herself to dwell on her anger that was quickly growing into rage. No, she was focused on looking her best and appearing as happy to see her 'date' as he'd claimed he'd be to see her. The hostility would wait until they were seated comfortably and the perfect moment arose. For now, she simply glanced around, spotted Caedus at a table that was secluded from the bulk of those present, and with a smile that could stop traffic made her way toward him.
